What a good morning!

First and foremost, my 3-wk stiff neck is now gone! Whew, what a relief! ☺ I feel I’m being paralyzed everyday specially when I wake up because of the pain on my shoulder and at the back of my neck (left part only), which I find so strange and is killing me! Good thing I took the advise of Michelle to have a good massage.

Yesterday Xave and I spent some quality time together to somehow celebrate our 107th monthsary.

We went to Mall of Asia (MOA). The last time we were there, some stores were still closed and it was freakin’ hot! There was no air condition yet; we were endlessly walking (read: our feet were aching and we were all in sweat!) I said to myself I will never go back there again. Apparently, some friends told us that it was made better now. Xave and I decided to give it another try. I agree, it has improved a lot! ☺

We went to Hotel Sofitel (formerly Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel) to have some body treatment and spa. We were supposed to take the Hersey’s body scrub but they ran out of chocolates! *sob* so we took the radiance salt instead. It was sooo rejuvenating! This is one of my fetishes and it is so addicting! *haha* I think its Xave’s third time. First was in Metro Walk wherein he had a bleach treatment and spa. Second, was in Hotel Sofitel also. It was my last birthday when I treated some close friends to the spa.

What A Girl Wants

My free time is mostly spent in front of my iBook – day in, day out! Now, I want to give myself a little reward…

Spa is my top of mind but Xave wants to have it, too. Well, it’s one of the many things we love to do together and nobody can argue with that. So, I guess I have to wait for him on Sunday.

Now, what’s next? Hmmm…I want to spend quality time with some friends. Let me see…*doing a run down of names in my mind*

Asis cannot make it. He is out of town!

Who else can I invite? OMG, most of my 24x7 girl friends are now married!!! Eeeeek! My single friends are getting smaller in quantity…which means, they have their own priorities now – their families. While me, I just think of myself…on how to get through each day sans boredom.

While writing this post, I’m thinking of what to do in the next few hours. I’ve been overly spending time with my iBook and I feel I have to do something else. Something outside of this roof!

So many things to do, no one to be with. That feels awful!

I want to go on a gimik and have a few bottles or drive to Tagaytay perhaps. But all of these girls are no longer available 24x7.

Oh, I terribly miss the good ol’ days!!!

I miss Cyl who’s always game anytime anywhere…and we usually do things unplanned! *hahaha* Once our eyes meet, we are on to go. Good times! ☺ She is now in New Jersey, married.

I also miss Michelle, the ‘on call’ girl friend of mine. Tried and tested! One call, and she’s here. She’s also married now with a baby girl.

Geez, how time really flies so fast like a blink of an eye!

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty reminds me of my childhood and makes me happy.

I cannot deny that I still visit Hello Kitty shops and oftentimes go home with some loot. My jewelry box is Hello Kitty. I have a Hello Kitty mirror in my make up kit which I very much rely on when doing my lashes. I have a diary also with a padlock that I refuse to use…*sayang eh* To top it all, I have a Hello Kitty email account. *wink*

Has anyone of you heard about the Hello Kitty Dream Wedding? Yup, you read it right! The first ever legally valid Hello Kitty Dream Wedding was held at MTR Hongkong station last February 16, 2007.

The Beauty of Life

I admit that I like nice things. But I believe that material things are meant to be used and people are meant to be loved, and NOT the other way around.

I also believe that in life, you always get what you deserve. So if you want good things to come your way, be good to other people. Most importantly, always keep a positive and happy attitude. Even if you are faced with a lot of problems, there is always something to be grateful for each day.

Life is so beautiful. Live as if there is no tomorrow.

SUMMER SHOPPING!

I finally got a new digicam! *yipee* We’ll my old one is still working well though, but technology evolves so quick and I feel I had to get a new one. Xave said I have to dispose it na but I’m having second thoughts. It has a sentimental value for me. *sob*

Here’s what I got:

Canon Powershot SD800 a.k.a. the Ixus 850 and a Crumpler Thristy AL (to go with my iBook’s Breakfast Buffet)
Xave went here to see me for V day, sweet! We spent most of the time malling. Got a couple of swimwear and boardshorts.

Quiksilver boardshorts I so like the color and design. I’m so glad he liked it, too!

Oh by the way, there’s this promo in Chocolate wherein you have to purchase a certain PHP amount of their items and a pair of Havaianas to be able to avail their Chocolate logo pin. I didn’t think twice. Xave grabbed some summer shirts and I got this:

Last week, I accompanied Lizle to buy something that caused her sleepless nights. *hahaha*

A Balenciaga City *applause*She also got a Swarovski Havaianas to match her bag. I think I’ve influenced her a lot! *hihihi* We were together when we got our Havies. Le'ts go out sometime with our babies. *chuckles*

I’ve been meaning to see the Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta since the first time it started but I miss it all the time. I always fail to notice details about it. I’m always the last person to know and by the time I get information, it’s too late. All I can see are news and videos.

Umm, I bought another Havaianas. I can’t help it! But this time it’s really different from the rest of what I have. I’ve been looking for this for the longest time finally it’s in my hands, errr…feet now! *hahaha*

Quiapo + Roxy freak!

I had a chance to visit Quiapo however, for a few minutes only. I find the place interesting and I wish I could explore it more. Unfortunately, we had to leave immediately. I hope one of these days I can see the sights of downtown Manila and take pictures of the infrastructures, historical places and have a taste of some of their chow. I think I’ve read somewhere that some companies offer day tour services. Hmm…let me think!

I’ve been seeing this for the longest time on TV and I’m dying to know what are these stuffs they are selling. *so curious!*

Finally, I was able to have my car waxed and buffed for the first time! Yeah, first time since I bought it and she’s 16 month old now! *tsktsktsk* I feel for my car and if it can only talk she might have hugged me so tight…*oh...*

The other day, I went to The Fort to meet some of my Samsung buddies --- AC, LG and KC. Call time was 12noon, it was a lunch date and as usual I was late – for an hour! There was an unexpected little drama at home and I had to stay a bit, but well nothing so serious though.

Going back, we had a lunch at Mini Shabu-Shabu. Everybody pigged out except me. I just had an ice cream! We proceeded to All Flip Flops after however, it was still close for inventory, new stocks. Reason why we went there in the first place! Will open at 2PM. We don’t want to miss it so we had some donuts at Krispy Kreme while waiting and to our surprise, a few minutes before it opened there was a line already! *panic girls*

I have this thing for flip-flops and I can’t have enough! I got 3 new pairs:

High in brown, from Lizzybelles (I used it this morning when I went to the bank)
Slim, newest style I got (left) and GAP, from Kuya Bombit (right)
Dropped by Eastwood to meet MS-R and MR-D for a car show and some updating *I missed doing this!* Too bad I wasn’t able to join the drinking session at RRs house. *aaawwww*

Today started after a text from my Mom. I felt guilty so I went up immediately, had coffee and clutched my iBook. I needed to do this "mission" that I find so confusing! Thanks to umm, GM who helped me *wink*.

Finally, I will be able to blog with colors again. Thanks to JA and IT who helped me solve this slight concern of mine. Imagine for almost a year I’ve been meaning to find out how to do colors. *hehhe* What a simple solution!
