Beautifully Imperfect

I had to make this quick post before I go to bed. First saw this video in Facebook and I was moved by it.

Go, watch.

Love your family. Treasure the people around you. Don't wait to recognize their worth when its too late and they're gone.

I suddenly miss my Daddy.

For some reasons, I see this as a sign for me to entertain my thoughts and pursue what I want...

Hmm...next level please?

I’m thinking of changing career to non-IT. I want to slow down a bit and do something I love. Perhaps involve myself in our poultry business and expand then open another one in line of my interest.

A tough decision because it’s always best to be employed specially in my case that I worked hard for my tenure in IT already. I have established my network and I’m in a good company. But I guess things really change…

I feel my line of work is getting way too demanding and I feel it doesn’t go with my priorities in life anymore.

Let me put it this way, this is not what I envisioned myself doing long term. Maybe when I was fresh out of school, young and still starting...Now I feel I'm okay with what I have humbly achieved and its time to move on, start a new experience and learn some more.

I’ve always been a person who knows what I want and make things happen.

Let’s see where will this thought brings me. *smiles*

CONT: I LOVE...

Whoa, this update has been long overdue! Sorry guys…

Anyways, since I’ve uploaded all of our photos in my Multiply account it was made obvious already where we have been on our anniversary weekend celebration --- The Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Tagaytay! ☺

If you’re the type who thinks outside the box, prepared to try something out of the ordinary, very keen to exceptional service and eager to obtain a unique experience then this would be a perfect place for you.

Each room is inspired by an emotion and no single room is the same. (read: orientation of each room is different from each other).

They have 7 rooms namely:

I Lust
I Dare
I Desire
I Surrender
I Love
I Escape

We were lucky to have I LOVE, the only available room for that day. It was actually perfect for us! ☺

The Boutique Bed & Breakfast is located at 45 Aguinaldo Hiway, Silang Crossing East, Tagaytay City. To learn more about them, click here.

Here are some photos to share. I made a heart-shaped collage. *heehee*

I LOVE...

Since we got married we celebrate our anniversary in 2 days, every 28th and 29th (wedding). It’s been a year since the day we tied the knot. We hardly noticed it!

Married life is no bed of roses as most people say but we always make it a point that we sleep happy, no unresolved issues and heavy hearts every single night. It’s been a commitment for 11 years now. *smiles*

We wanted this weekend to be special. HubBEE surprised me of a weekend getaway to celebrate our 1st year anniversary as husband and wife and 11 years as a couple. Tagal na pala talaga namin...*smiles*

Here are some photos to share taken from my Macbook. It’s like a teaser. *hehehe*

Our hiding place this weekend. Hmm, let me keep it as a suspense for now…*wink*

Feel free to guess!

Have to go now...More stories soon!

Gems

I got this from mail today.

A very special gift from my cousin Maya who is in Canada (born here, raised there). It's a wish bracelet for soon-to-be-moms. It is handmade of delicate rose quartz and moonstone beads caught between sterling bead caps and strung on hand-linked sterling silver. A sterling rope toggle and a sterling turtle charm complete the bracelet.

note from Maya, her hubby Marc and baby Mara

Moonstone is said to have powers that aid in nurturing receptivity and balancing of the emotions. It helps prepare mama-to-be to welcome new life into her body and into her life.

Rose quartz are the beads of love and fertility. They are said to help promote pregnancy and to protect the mother and unborn fetus from miscarriage.

Turtles are a potent symbol of both protection and fertility.

Thank you so much Cuz!☺☺☺

For those who's interested to get this bracelet or similar to this one, click here for more details. They ship in Philippines.

Maya and I got married on the same date: March 29, 2008. It was a coincidence! They decided to have baby immediately while HubBEE and I opted to wait a little bit until we turn 1 year. We are going 1 in 11 days! *woohoo* It's been a year, seems like only yesterday... So, I guess this is the 'best time' if God permits. *wink*

Last month, she just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Mara.

vogue!

xoxo Mara!

So adorable, isn't she?

The Crossroads

So many times in our life we’ll be in crossroads and will require us to make tough decisions, never easy.

To weigh things has always been a struggle for me. Over the years, I’ve learned to make decisions using both my heart and mind. I’m more of a heart person but I try my very best not to be too emotional. Emotions change over time.

On the other hand, I don’t rely much on my mind as well since I don’t want to be heartless. Best is to have combination of both but never simple, always easier said than done.

I had so many turning points in this lifetime now. I don’t want it to stop because I enjoy the experience. I try not to be anxious in making big leaps and later on tumble. To fall is something I’m not afraid to happen. I always believe that it’s on how you pick up the pieces of you and learn from each failure that matters most.

Decision can be a choice and a choice can be the decision hence, shouldn’t be based on feelings alone. Feelings fade.

Now, I’m faced with something new that is even harder! --- Choice of priority.

Do I want to take the comfortable, safe and level path? Or take the rocky road that will take me on a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment?

I’ve made up my mind; I will LET GO and LET GOD.

Head On

I was fortunate to have taken photos of my white Macbook side by side with my aluminum.

Actually, you can hardly notice the difference aesthetically except the color of course.

very compact (thin, light and handy)

aluminum is in black keys already and glass trackpad

Being powerful is not a question anymore. *smiles* Both run in Core 2 Duo.

Goodbye - Hello

I have to bid goodbye to my white Macbook and congratulate Jojie for being the new mom to it. *teehee* It's always been heavy for me to let go of things I've learned to love. So Jojie, promise me you'll take care of this okay?

Now, I'm left with nothing to use so before I totally hand it over to the new mom I had to move double time to get a replacement. (read: 3rd this time) It's not a question of what anymore... I never expected I'll upgrade this very soon. I even bought an AppleCare to extend the warranty to 2 more years of my white Macbook because I know it will be for keeps...

Oh well.

So, without much further a do, *drum roll please* say hello to my new Macbook. *applause*

box is half the size of my white Macbook

it's in Aluminum!

i think it's just a little thinner, you can hardly notice

I had to take photo of this intro --- 1st and last time to see once new Apple is opened

Something to look forward to be home earlier everyday. *haha* I can't wait to spend more time with this new baby, Holy week!

Next project: iMovie! It has been so long overdue now.

Kreci, better do one also. It's FUN!
