What's Keeping Me Busy?

Simple things! Here’s a run down of what I did for the past days:

SUNDAY: Left Bataan at 230PM and arrived Manila at 4PM all by myself! Well, I missed driving alone. Once in a while it’s healthy to do things by yourself. No help, no guide, just you. Umm, thanks to my iPod who kept me company. ☺ I had my car washed while hearing mass. *time-saving tip*

Trip lang...as if sad siya that I'm leaving and he doesn't know I'm putting it here! *laughs*

Expressway at xxx speed
MONDAY: Visit to some hardwares to check out some stuffs I need to buy for the farm. Had an argument with Xave. I really hate to go places I am not so familiar with specially if I’m so pressed for time! *grrrr* And he is so poor on giving directions! *eeekkkk!* A few minutes later after I saw the particular store, I mellowed down. Hmmm….very typical of me. He’s so used to it, anyway. *wink*

Had my derma visit with Michelle. While we were seated and with magazines on hand, something caught my eye --- weighing scale! I tried it and I was so stunned I lost 18lbs! This is unbelievable! *poking my head* I even asked the attendant if the scale is working well. *oh so funny of me!* I was not convinced and asked the same question over and over until I get tired! *bwahaha*

TODAY: I needed to go to the bank but I stopped over on a bookstore first (and moved at my own pacing as if I was not in a hurry) trying to check some good books and this was like staring at me…yikes!*
I so love lip balms specially this brand. I grabbed one.
to be continued...

P.S. My eyes are dropping! So sleepy... I'm not even sure if this post makes sense...

Updates!

To start off…

1. I’m done with my book #1 and I am reading this now:

Shopaholiic Ties the Knot This has been with me for I-don’t-know-since-when but it’s only now that I had time to read it.

Confession: I usually buy things for “reserve” (to set aside and store) then, when I feel I need it atleast it’s within reach already. *hehe*

2. I’m proud to say that I have done all the permits needed for the farm and that makes be do #3.

3. I will be off to Manila tomorrow to fix “some stuffs” which is my priority for now. I will let you know what are these once I have successfully polished everything. *wink* Gee, I’m so excited on this! Can’t wait…

On A Lighter Side...

People say when in doubt one has to move on. Umm, maybe for some but for a Virgo like me, slowing down a bit can make me understand things however not in haste.

I’m in bliss to have more free time now as I can get to notice the things/persons I have paid no attention to before specially during the time I was so engrossed with work.

Friends reading this might find me so uncanny *chuckles*.

I tend to be extremes at times errr…most of the times! One day I’m into perfection, the next day I can be so careless. Now, I can be so pleasant then a few hours later I can hate the world for all I care! *hahaha* Well, this is MOI.

I don’t know, I just observed and I can say that this is one of my learnings --- once a person reached the brim and feel so dead tired or unhappy in his/her life or possibly “a portion” of his life (may it be a relationship, co-workers, or work perhaps) then the possibilities of seeing things negatively (in all aspects) can be an everyday happening.

This is CONTAGIOUS and has to be stopped immediately!

I don’t want to feel this way again and I’m thankful I am out of that “quick sand” now. I’m proud I was brave enough to make a big leap. It’s no bed of roses though but it’s manageable.

At the end of the day, I’m so blessed to have these people I love and who loves me in return (or even more). If everything fails, you’ll always have your family and loveones ready to catch you on your fall.

5th day

I started today with an exercise. Yes, you read it right – EXERCISE! It’s this round thing/gadget placed flat on the floor then I position my feet on top and I do this body twisting move for a particular time I prefer. Usually, 5-6 minutes. After, I had my usual morning coffee while watching the news on TV. Ayong, our ever-dependable guy prepared some “okoy” with shrimps for us. So, I had rice this morning. Perfect!

Note: no pic for this post, internet is a bit sluggish

I’m reading an old book, Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella. It’s my 2nd time to read this and can still make me chuckle. I love Becky! ☺

I almost forgot to go online because of this paperback. It just hit me that I need to have a chat with my friend, Michelle and she must be waiting for me by now. Oh gosh, how scatterbrained I can be!

Going back, I knew it! She has been waiting for me since 7am this morning! *hahaha* Lucky her, she is in a computer biz and can be online 24/7.

Oh, lots of paper works (permits, etc.) to fix and I have zero or even negative idea on any of these! I am volunteering myself to help him as I am not doing anything at all since I came here! *hahaha* He's been so busy having 3 hours of sleep everyday since we loaded and this is the least thing I can do for him.

Before and Now?

Before: last view of my office Samsung laptop and my desk ; I was doing my FAREWELL email then

Now: new workplace (?), my bed *hehehe*
Finally, after many tries I was able to pair my cellphone with my iBook and I'm again surfing the net big time! I really can't leave w/o the internet. Speed is not that good though but it's better than nothing right? Luckily, YM is also working well.

Off to Bataan

We will have a “load” tonight that made me visit our farm in Bataan and “try” to somehow be involved.

First stop: Supermarket

I do not know anything about meats, veggies, and fishes “at all”. I was born to eat! *hahaha* Xave did everything and I’m impressed! He knows how to “market”! He got some porks and beefs with these particular “cuts” for certain dishes he prefers. Sounds complicated...

Trying to convince him to get that foiled embotido which is easier to cook

“things to buy” checklist on his phone

Krispy Crème *oh so yummy!*
Next stop: Asian Spirit

Xave while waiting for me.

Tickets for our Boracay trip
Good to be home, finally!

FREE At Last!

Today is my last day at work and I spent the whole day mingling with my friends minus Lizette. She is still in Hongkong. ☹

I sent a farewell email to all and got some touching replies. Joscel encouraged me to keep them and I printed some. My apologies for some weird English below. These are Koreans…☺

====================================================================
Long time no talk! I didn’t know you are leaving. I’ll miss you but I know you’ll do good whatever you do. Wish you good luck!

- MinJung Yoo (my former GOC, Korea)

I am so sad that you will leave here today. I just take SEPCO to support. So, I was happy that I can work with you, dear Tammy. On the other hand, you can have better chance to have different job. I am sure that you can do well --- whatever it is. I hope I can keep in touch with you.

Oh Tammy, can I get your address for me to send something for you? ^^ (Korean smiley) When I find something which you really like, I will sent it to you. Please let me know your address. Have a good day dear Tammy.

- SeolHee Shin (my new GBM, Korea)

Note: My former GMB (a.k.a. counterpart) was a guy and had difficulties in working and communicating with him. I requested for a girl and it was granted. However, too late…

It’s a surprise for me that you resign …first Chee See Kuen (RHQ) and then you…so it’s so hard for me to say….goodluck my friend…it’s nice to know you since you are a member of Samsung. Keep in touch.

- Asril Amran (Samsung Indonesia)

I wish you good luck and thank you for all the support you have extended to me and to Lamco. It was such a pleasure working with you. Keep in touch and hope to see ou again. Take care and God Bless. ☺

- Amy Presillas (Printer PM, Lamco)

Best wishes to you, Tammy. You know you will always have friends from the Samsung Printer Training Course.

- Anders Bygden (Samsung Australia)

Tammy, I will not forget your support on me and really appreciate everything you have done in SAMSUNG. I will miss you a lot and remember our happy breakfst time ^^. Always be happy and see you often time. Ingat kayo.

- Inhye “Kate” Choi (Samsung Phils.) ; one of my closest friends in the office and my 1st Korean good friend

Hi Mare…I’m kinda sad coz you are already leaving us..but on the other hand I’m happy also coz I know this is a well thought plan…you’ll have more time for yourself and your loved ones…and at the same time…it will give you more time to redirect your life (as you said)…super ma-mimiss ko ang bonding moments natin be it in mysingle messenger…during lunch and gimik and chikahan ever…mawawalan ako ng bestfriend in Samsung…I fully hope that we’ll be much closer eventhough you are not physically present here in the office…you are really on on my trusted friends…sobrang endangered species ang mga tunay na mga kaibigan nowadays…and you are one of the few that I really really treasure…remember mare…im just a text/phone call away…I’ll be by your side no matter what happens…friends for life!!! I’ll continue praying for you and may God continue to bless your dreams!!!! Love you mare!!!

- Amby Navarro (Samsung Phils.) one of my good friends

Hi Tams, it’s sad to see you go..but happy for your to have left (hehe gulo). Anyway, goodluck on your new life’s chapter. Keep in touch my friendster friend. =)

- Dino Obias (Samsung Phils)

I will definitely miss you not only because you are one of the two pretty faces in Samsung (ako you isa hehehe) but also because you have been part of my life here, and I must say you are one of a few people here in the office na talagang walang yabang at madaling kausap. I will miss you!

- Mommy Su (Samsung Phils.)

Though we have not gone that extra close, it is stil sad to let go of somebody like you. I have witness your dedication and your persistence to get everything going in your team but I know that everything happens for a purpose. Thank you also for making us smile with your beauty each morning and for making a competition out of our printers. We pray for your success in whatever endeavor you may get into. God bless you and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you need our help…We love you.

- Luz Ramos on behalf of the GWP Team
====================================================================

I didn’t expect people from office appreciate my presence. I feel they all hate me because of me being a biatch! I don’t smile to everyone, I don’t look approachable and I always make a “don’t’come near me” face. *bwahahaha*

Whew! Tomorrow is a new day that will bring new hopes. I better make it straight this time. ☺ I HAVE TO!

Project

I. Canon Ixus 65

I know that there are new models launched in the market higher than this (Ixus 850 and 900) but after reading a number of product reviews I know this is the model that suits me best.

ultracompact, very stylish and functional

with a 3-inch LCD II. Holy Week Get-Away

Planners: Asis, Michelle and I.

Choices: Boracay, Bohol and Palawan

I will be biased and I will really push for Boracay for so many reasons:

1. Water sports
2. Night life
3. Foooood
4. Longaburger (so yummy, I can skip dinner for this!)
5. The crowd

This is so exciting!

To be FREE for a REASON

One day to go and I will be FREE from work! *finally!* Making this happen gives me an unexplainable feeling on a positive note. I quit my job not because I’m lazy and got tired of the work per se. I love what I am doing at work. It is very challenging and I believe I can grow the Printer business even more. But I feel I had to stop because I need to DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT and work keeps from making THAT possible.

I was able to go through all my previous posts here in my blog. I love going back on them. Which reminds me of the past --- thoughts, learnings, feelings, events, everything! That somehow, serves as my reminder on how to face my everyday life. This blog is working good for me! ☺

As early as now, I’m getting job offers already. I can easily say yes if my main goal is to EARN some more. I don’t know how far can my savings bring me. Honestly, I refrain from worrying about money. I hope I don’t sound arrogant. It’s just that I don’t want to focus my life on MONEY alone FOR NOW. I know HE will provide. If I spend my time worrying too much I might be missing life.

Hmm…it’s like there’s some unidentified force wanting me to be distracted. I need to STAY FOCUSED! I strongly believe that there are other reasons behind my resignation. In my heart I know the “ultimate purpose” but I don’t feel like spilling out the beans here yet. Not now… *wink*

Enough of this drama.

Here's what keeping me busy TODAY: My iBook (sorry for the flash though...)
Multiply, Blogger, iPhoto, some YM and iChat buddies

I have so much time and I’m enjoying it! ☺

Stay Focused

I try to read messages from this guy. Now that I will have more free time soon, I’d be able to read some more. ☺

Something to ponder. Here you go…

“Do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” (Deuteronomy 5:32)

STAY FOCUSED

The way to kill a man with a great dream is to give him another one! The devil’s strategy is to get you spread out so thin htat you become mediocre in everything and excellent in nothing. Paul’s strategy for life can be summed up in one line, “I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing” (Philippians 3:13). Did you know that a dove has no peripheral vision? It cannot see right or left. --- only straight ahead. What a picture!

The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will focus you on your purpose and aim you toward your destiny. Most things in life fail for one reason --- broken focus! Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t get distracted by lesser things no matter how loud and how long they call to you. Isaiah said, “Therefore have I set my face like a flint and I know I shall not be put to shame” (Isaiah 50:7)

One of Satan’s favorite tricks is to get you say “yes” to too many things. Because something good does not mean it is right for you. There comes a time when your “plate is full”, and you’ve got to learn to say “no” to even the best of ideas.

Child of God, start learning to say no to lesser things so that you can say yes to the things that matter most --- the things that God has called you to do.

Rooster + Snake = 5

My day started at 10am, had a cup of coffee (can’t leave without it), surfed the net and had my shower at noon.

Xave and I jumped on the car and headed to Charms and Crystals in Tomas Morato to check our “luck” this year.

Traffic!

Here you go…

I’m a Snake and he is a Rooster. Based on the chart, we are a 5, which is the highest possible score for compatibility --- we are also good to be business partners. Actually, I knew this score thing since 2003. I just really forgot…(thanks for the refresher!) Hmm…I guess this was also one of the reasons why we continued to do business.

Now, here’s the “not so good” part. 2007 is a BAD year for both Rooster and Snake! Sheeesh!!!

Solution: See our loot! (clockwise) --- First two are mine, last two for Xave.

Quan Yin Smokey Quartz bracelet – to fight the bad luck for the year a.k.a. “pang kontra ng malas”.

Friends and Allies - comprises my four animal signs : Snake, Rooster, Ox and….oh, I forgot the last one...=( I think it’s a Monkey. Also includes some stones like Ruby, et.al.

Tiger’s Eye – it’s for good decision making with Citrine a.k.a. the merchant's stone. Xave requested this particular bracelet for our business.

Pendant – I forgot the name actually *hahaha* but this can be used as a pendant or can be kept in his pocket for the same purpose as my Smokey Quartz.

We used to have these bracelets before. Hmm…3 to 4 years ago I think but lost everything. Anyways, these need some programming and I’m so excited to do it tomorrow when I wake up.

Speaking of tomorrow, it would be a long day for me. Had to go to my hairdresser to have my hair cut and then see my dentist for my second molar bond.

Argh! What's happening to the connection? Since the Taiwan earthquake I have been experiencing problems with my DSL. It sucks!!! I'd still have a couple of pictures to upload...Ugh! I need a shut eye...
