Hate, Hate, Hate!

Power if not managed properly can be abusive and ruthless…

It is such a big shame to have leaders like them. Tsk!

Memories of Christmas

I have fond memories of Christmas specially when I was a kid. I get giddy every start of “Ber” months, which is in September. I usually do my ‘research’ of what gifts to ask from my parents and of course, Santa Clause. Yes, I believe in Santa and will always do. *wink*

Would you believe that I started writing to Santa even before I learned how to write? I remember Daddy holding my hands as I scribble the letters to come up with words to complete a sentence. *heehee* My letter always starts with “Dear Santa…” and ends with “I’ve been a good girl this year”. *hahaha* In the middle, I ask for what I want for Christmas. Many times, I asked for Barbie dolls and lots of chocolates! *smiles* Whatever I ask, Santa gives *beams* and this privilege happens only once a year. *wink*

Middle of December, my brothers and myself will rummage through our Daddy’s closet to get the oldest and biggest tennis socks we can use. Socks should always be 4. For myself and my 3 brothers.

We put our letters inside the socks and hang them outside our windows. This made us so thrilled to wake up early morning of Christmas day to see if our socks are filled up with chocolates and the gifts we’ve been meaning to have. It was always a success year on year! *hahaha* Then we all go to church together.

I’m blessed to have happy childhood memories. Reason why I try my very best to instill good ones to my ‘pamangkins’ on my own special way…

Merry Christmas!

I'm Back!

So my friends were asking me what was it that I was doing in the last few weeks that I’ve been keeping my blog outdated.

Nothing much, just all work.

Now, I’m enjoying holidays!

Bliss. ☺☺☺

My Genie

For many months, I’ve been looking for a certain powder of MAC. Since it is a limited edition, (sold out everywhere in Asia) I lost hope on getting one. I actually forgot about it already.

Then, a very good friend sent me one from US...

The exact shade I’ve been dying to have. *yipee*

Thank you very much Cyl! ☺☺☺

Thanks for being my Genie. *smiles*

You don’t know how grateful I am for this special gift. I had to road test it this morning (I super like it!) and will continue using every single day! I LAV ET! *LOL*

Here’s a BIG hug to you mare!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

WOW!

P.S. Happy Birthday to my dearest father-in-law (FIL). Wish you good health and long life. We love you! ☺

Ah!

Wouldn’t it be pleasant go home and sleep on this sanctuary? *smiles*

I would loooooove to wake up each morning and take a shower on this uberly nice bathroom. Perhaps, take a night warm bubble bath on the beautiful tub.

They say a secret to a good marriage is to have 2 sinks/washbasins in a bathroom. I perfectly agree! *LOL*

Eyeshadows

Now, let’s proceed to eye shadows.

Yes, it was my HubBEE who did the depotting for me since it requires heat to complete the entire process, etc. etc. a bit complex reason why he volunteered to do it instead. *beams* That's what you call supportive husband! *haha*

HubBEE in the process of depotting my eyeshadows
The paper on your left is where I've written the sequence of colors of my eyeshadows which served as a guide for HubBEE on how to place them in the palette. It has to be from light, medium to dark and top, middle to bottom. *teehee*

HubBEE done with the 2nd pan, Vanilla. 7 more to go...

Tadah!
I still have 4 more spaces to fill in. HubBEE couldn't understand why I never buy everything in one go to complete this palette. I simply want to get the right colors that suit me and more importantly, colors that I will really use. *wink* Not to mention the combination that I have to take into consideration, too. *haha* So impulsive buying is not a good way to complete your eyeshadow collection in my humble opinion. *smiles*

Blushes

Finally, I was able to get hold of the MAC blush empty palette and depotted 4 of my blushes to fit into it. *smiles* I have 5 blushes in total but the other one is mineralized so it won’t fit in to the palette. Need two more to complete my collection. I’m still thinking what shades to get since majority of them look the same. *sigh*

blush palette that can fit 6 blushes

2 more spaces to fill in

(L-R) coppertone, pink swoon, melba and blooming

empty plastic cases after depotting my blushes
I will stop on my 7th blush and that’s a promise! *hahaha*

Person behind the depotting will be revealed in my next post. *wink* Watch out for it ladies...*smiles*

Not 1, not 2 but 3!

Books to bring on my next travel.

I just love the illustrations. I can read them over and over. *smiles*

I like Victoria Beckham’s style, so posh! I didn’t know she has a book until I saw this and grabbed a copy. *heehee*

My choice of books obviously shows how toxic I am at work. I want something light and entertaining please. I deserve a break, don’t you think so? *raised eyebrow*

Make Up Workshop

I’ve been traveling frequently that my weekends are my only time to spend with my family. I’ve been wanting to take make up classes however my time only permits me to attend one session. It would be a waste of money to enroll on series of classes wherein there is no surety that I can be present all the time. Tsk! Anyways, I just need it for personal use and no plans to do it professionally so I guess basic would be enough for now…

Fast forward, I was able to be part of an afternoon make up workshop. *yipee* Click here to find out.

It was a fun and learning experience, some sort of bitin though…but it satisfied my cravings! ☺☺☺

Ah, Speechless...

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Now, in movie!

I wish I can afford to spend like Becky sans the debt. *heehee* I’ve been waiting for this series of novels to be out in the big screen simply because it is English and it involves massive, massive shopping. I’m excited to see her shoes, clothes and most importantly BAGS! *wink*

Showing in February.

Gladiator Sandals

I WAS not a fan of gladiator sandals.

Since we only have 2 seasons in Philippines, I always think everyday is Summer! *heehee* I get to wear anything I want from top to bottom, from heels, flats to flipflops. But I wish to have winter though, I love trench coats and boots! *beams*

Having seen these photos,

So chic! I got myself a pair already yesterday when I trooped to Rockwell hoping to take hold of the Diesel Dirty Thirty limited edition jeans and failed! Well, that's another story...

You just have to be choosy on what style to get. Be sure to get a pair that is flattering to the feet. *smile* You wouldn’t want to look like those gladiators in that movie, I forgot the title! *hahaha*

Do you own any gladiator sandals? ☺

New Apple Notebook?

On October 14,

Apple has been rumored to be delivering new MacBooks and MacBook Pros this month. A number of leaked photos have been circulating. I hope MacBook Pro will come up with smaller screens just like the PowerBooks before.

I’m excited to see what’s new. ☺☺☺

Miniminiminimoe!

Since 2008 is about to end, it is high time for me to scout on the best planner for next year that I can use long time. “To have” and “to have and use", different all together…

For the past years, I’ve been relying mostly on company planners distributed at work. 4 years of HP, another 4 years of Samsung and over a year of Dell diaries. In between, I go crazy to complete all the stickers to be able to get my hands on the most coveted Starbucks planners. Hay, tiring!

I’ve realized, I was not able to maximize these planners because they’re too big for my bags. I just can’t lug them around which made them almost clean all through out the year. *yikes*

To make the story short, I want these!!! *hahaha*

1, 2 & 3

4 & 5

Aren’t they lovely? *wink* These agendas are available for limited time only.

Picture below which is Epi leather in Grenade (purplish) is a regular item and can be purchased anytime. I'm loving the color so she is part of my options. I want a bag in this color, too!

Help me decide which one to get. I gave you 6 items please message me here or email me. I have only until 11th of October to decide. I'm lemming on #4 I like Damier Ebony and I love that red accent when the agenda is open. Hmm, but I'm also liking the Epi Grenade...sigh.

Choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. *smiles*

Eeeeeeemails

Having the privilege to work from home gives me quite a number of advantages. I get to access my Outlook anytime and anywhere there’s Wifi. I can start to work 9am sharp (though we are flexi-time) not having to drive to office and spend 30 minutes on the road, save gas and not having to dress up and put make up on that eats up 1 and ½ hours of my time every morning. *hahaha* Working from home makes me join my early conference calls (concalls) on time also. *smiles* They just have to patch me in on via mobile and I’m set to go.

However, on days that I’m on leave (like today) I get this itch of opening my Outlook --- initially to download emails, but eventually if I see tons of messages already I can’t help but read and reply. *tsk* Having myself end up working. *sigh* But today is different. I allotted 1 hour for me to peek and immediately shut down my laptop. No more looking back. *smiles*

HubBEE and I will be attending a wedding of his grade school friend and asked me to take a day off from work to join him and I did.

I get an average of 80 emails on a daily basis. At the back of my mind, I’m already thinking when can I catch up on my emails…definitely not this weekend and not next week since I’m again off for a business trip and still have 3 events to run.

Eeeeeek!

Philippine Star

In response to Madz message in my message board, here’s the article she was talking about --- Sept 23, 2008 Philippine Star pages C10 and C11.

I’m so proud of the first ever event I did for DELL Asia Pacific which was last August 19, 2008 in Makati Shangri-la Hotel Rizal Ballroom. I forgot to blog about it. So many things have transpired since then and I have no idea on when, how and where to start...(read: backlog!)

I will be having 3 more events next week:

Oct 9 morning – Press conference in Makati Shangri-la Hotel
Oct 9 afternoon – Manila launch in Makati Shangri-la Hotel Rizal Ballroom

Lastest Fixation Part...( nah lost count!)

I admit that I’m an impatient lady...sort of 50-50% actually because there are times I can control myself. (shout: self-control) However, umm I failed this early…tsk!

My MAC haul

I couldn’t resist Heatherette and grabbed one since my very good friend, MR is still having a hard time getting Sculpt and Shape in US. *sigh* Heatherette can be used as sculpting powder anyway.

Heatherette and MSF

These brushes have been so useful to me for the longest time now. Seems like they want to retire anytime soon...*hahaha*

Bodyshop is the biggest and oldest brush you see and the rest are Suesh and Lancome brushes I got for free. I have only one MAC brush in 129 SE which cost me 1900 pesos. EXXXY! I can’t wait for my other MAC brushes I asked MR to buy for me. I was forced to wait and source them from US to save more moolah. Why not? Saving means I can buy more and more isn’t it? Kidding! *heehee*

2wks to go…I just can’t wait!

169 is my wish brush. It is a limited edition. (hint to HubBEE) *whistle*
HubBEE tolerates this kikay side of me. He even bought me a beaker to better organize my brushes once they arrive. Will show you how beaker can make my life easier SOON!

To my fellow make up junkies and wannabes, share your thoughts. *smiles* I'm thinking of going to make up class...*beams*

Surprise Package

One busy day, I was out for offsite meetings hungry, thirsty and tired. I decided to drop by the office to quench my thirst and download emails before going home. Little did I know that a package was waiting for me on my desk.

A gift from my boss CL who couriered the package from DELL Malaysia office.

It was a pink card and fruity perfume from Christian Dior. I immediately phoned her gave my big thanks. *smiles*

Unexpected gifts make me feel very special. *smiles*

Wish Stone

We made a couple of visits on the Wish Stone of Discovery Shores in Boracay. I made 2 wishes in total. *smiles* But this guy visited only once and took sometime to write all his wishes. I had to stay distant since he didn’t want me to read his wishes so I took pictures instead. Umm…

using brush and water to write down the wishes

ang dami naman yata...

all smiles *hahaha*
I made a few guesses and I think I hit one. *hehehe*
