5 Things I Miss

1. My daily dose of 3-in-1 coffee

2. Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte (Xmas edition coffee)

  3. (All day) Swimming *smiles*

4.  Getting my regular spa

5. Discovery Shores Boracay / travelling / nice hotel rooms

I have need to forget these things for awhile and focus on my journey to pregnancy instead. Nothing beats the experience of expecting.  *beams* So for the meantime, tiis-tiis muna. *hehe*

Xmas Wishlist

2 days to go before Xmas. I still need to buy some gifts and haven't finished wrapping yet. Been busy for the past days, so little time to wrap. I usually spend my free time catching some sleep instead. My body gets tired easily. Oh well, I'm pretty sure I will spend the Xmas eve wrapping like a factory. *haha*

I always have a wishlist every year for my birthday, anniversary and Xmas. *hehe* Well, a list specially created for Hubby. *wink*

Here you go:

1. Chicken Soup for the Soul TWINS AND MORE

2. MAC Lipglass in Russian Red

3. The Style Strategy by Nina Garcia (to complete my collection)

4. Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom (also to complete my collection)

5. More non-slip slipper socks (can't sleep without one)
Very simple since we are having triplets already. I couldn't ask for more. *smiles* So, Bee yu-hooooo! Be a good Santa this year okay? *wink*

Update

Finally, I have updated my 2nd blog! I have also changed the template, check it out...so cute! *hehe* I'm also going to upload a video of my week 12 ultrasound. Its gonna be a big surprise to everyone...*wink*

Umm, I have nothing good to share here for now. I don't want to blog about my pregnancy here as it would be redundant. No use na ang 2nd blog ko diba?...

Anyway, I want to greet my very good friend Cecile a happy happy happy birthday! *smiles* Can't wait to see you next year mare! Take care.

Weeee!

I'm so glad that my morning errr evening sickness is finally over. It was an extreme struggle! However, I feel my food cravings and aversions will never go away...I'm so maselan.

I seldom spend time in front of the computer, it makes me dizzy. Reason why no much update on both my blogs. I will find time to update my 2nd one though, (read: super backlog!) I have to. I have all the ultrasounds both pictures and videos with me. It's a matter of uploading nalang. I will find time, promise. *hehe*

Also, I had no computer for few days. My Macbook aluminum got sold unexpectedly so I had to buy a new one. Well, a very good excuse to upgrade...

I'm surprised to open the box and noticed that they no longer use styro foams. These were replaced by cartons instead. Love it that Apple is environment friendly.

After getting 2 Macbooks, I got the Macbook Pro this time!

I really love Apple. I like its simplicity that even a grade school can configure the unit on its own. Plus the fact that I don't need to worry about any virus.

If you're still in Windows, go get one! A very nice Xmas gift for yourself for working real hard this year. *wink*

Happy Birthday

Had a month long birthday celebration with my love ones. A week before my birthday, Hubby and I went to Cebu together with couple friends, Robert & Maita.

Highlights of the trip:

- visit to the Chinese Temple & Magellan Cross
- petition and thanksgiving prayer to Sto. Nino
- AA’s BBQ pig out (love their spicy chorizo! Must-try!)
- conquered my fear --- Edge Coaster and Sky Walk adventure at the Crowne Regency Hotel

We had a blast! Next plan would be to go to the Plantation Bay or Bohol. ☺

On my birthday, had dinner with in-laws at TGIF Galleria after hearing mass.

Then a week after, my wish was granted! We went to Acuatico Beach Resort in Batangas. I love the place, mini version of Discovery Shores Boracay! Swimming all day ‘till the next day! Hehe.

That made my birthday complete. I thank God for all the blessings He is showering me all these years. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

Pray, hope and don't worry

It’s been 3 months now since Hubby and I visited St. Pio chapel and since then, we never stop receiving blessings through his intercession.

Instantly, we became a devotee of St. Pio.

Babies

It’s depressing to hear appalling news especially about babies.

Yesterday, a newborn baby was left in a delivery van. Baby was inside a black unzipped bag with a letter and instruction that the baby to be brought to DSWD…My heart was in extreme anger.

It was in the news tonight that conjoined twins were born. Two heads in one body with individual vital organs however, not fully developed. Miracle is needed for the twins to survive.

I love babies. When I was a child, I carried my 3 brothers without mom knowing. They were newborns then. I love my nephews and nieces. Babies melt my heart.

How can some people be heartless?

MAC COSMETICS UP FOR GRABS! ~UPDATED~

I’m such a make up junkie! I have this problem of hoarding stuffs then realizing later on I have bunch of unused items. Can't use them all the same time, haha!

Overtime, I was able to collect MAC products and full size MAC brushes. I was addicted to them! Spent so much money on MAC! GOSH.

Then, I’ve heard of mineral make up (MMU). They say MMU make skin breathe, heal and glow. Tried quite a number of brands. But my problem remains. I’m allergic to brush cleaners. Therefore, I cannot use loose MMU since they require brushes for application.

I went back to my MAC and sponge. Sometimes I use sponge to apply my MMU. This works for now…

...Until I found a new love…

So, watch this page and my Multiply.

I’m going to ditch some stuffs that might be more useful to others.

NOTE: 90% MAC products for as low as 600 pesos!!!

Hmm, how’s that price for MAC at 80-90% product left; either used twice/trice and few items limited edition and not available in Philippines?

Definitely a STEAL!

I will post photos and prices in a couple of days.

UPDATE: Click here to see items for sale.

BELIEVE

I wish to witness a miracle.

Someone very close to us had to undergo a major operation. A tumor was removed from her and was said to be malignant. We prayed so hard --- to our dear God, Mama Mary and St. Pio of Pietrelcina. We tried to prepare ourselves --- accept, let go and let God.

Today, (2wks after) our prayers were heard once again.

Miracles do happen! Today I officially witnessed a miracle.

"Talk to Me" - God

I owe it to my dear parents that they taught me how to pray. Since then, I say my prayers before going to bed. I pray when I’m sad and weak. I pray harder when I’m happy and strong. I pray hardest when I need help and guidance for a major decision.

I strongly believe that my ex-boyfriend turned husband was a divine gift from God. I’ve said this many times in this blog. It never fails to give me goosebumps everytime I think about our journey as a couple. He’s perfect for me. God indeed was thinking about me when He created Xave.

Me and my husband has gone this far mainly because we pray together, always. 11 years ago, we had our novenas in St. Jude (near Malacanang). Can’t remember what our intentions were. We used to go there weekly and distributed novena letters for everyone.

Sometime like 5 years ago, we also visited Baclaran with our friends. We went there weekly for many years.

For 3 months now, we do regular visits to St. Pio of Pietrelcina. We pray the novena daily. If we can’t visit St. Pio, we pray together before going to bed. If we are not together and he’s in the farm we pray at the same time. *smiles*

I’m sure this came as a surprise for most of you…

I’m not pious and definitely not perfect but I fear God. I’m lucky that my husband is a God-fearing man. My #1 ‘essential’ I prayed for God to give me (for a BF/husband).

He heard my prayers. My husband fills the empty spaces between my fingers. (awwww! cheesy! but true.)

Allow me to share with you a very moving experience of a very prominent TV journalist. Read the article here.

We haven’t received any miracle from St. Pio yet, but we BELIEVE in him. We spread stories and miracles (we read and heard) about him to our family, friends and strangers.

Good night people. Help us influence more people to PRAY and talk to God.It's never too late...

Happy Birthday BEE!

It was Xave’s birthday yesterday. Since we do not want to bother MIL to do the preps for us, we made it a simple celebration. We just bought cooked foods from different restaurants and served to our guests. We invited our closest friends only. Had dinner together (they were all on time!) and laughed in between booze.

It was a simple yet blissful gathering. Love it!

Again, happy 28th birthday dear HubBEE! I love you.

P.S. Sorry, no photos. I totally forgot about my camera...

All's Swell That Ends Well

It’s been a week since we were away from home, a week of emotional turmoil for all of us; full of uncertainties. Being a bit tough that I am, I was surprised to shed tears one night while staring at the blank space. Hubby had to hold my hand to keep me calm. Prayers have been our source of strength as always. Hope everything will be fine. Can't elaborate more...

On the other note, I’m glad to witness ‘reconciliation’ among people. Just one day, everything was forgiven/forgotten and hearts suddenly connected once more. Felt like big torns were literally removed from everyone’s chests.

It’s no secret that DH and BIL had some misunderstandings way back. The entire familia actually got involved.

It was because of this lady parasite that caused much trouble in the family. God has his ways of turning the events 360 degrees! If it’s really meant, nothing is impossible to Him. Who on earth can imagine that she will be out of our lives COMPLETELY and PERMANENTLY.

No one.

Now, the leech has deserted herself in the desert with the camels! LOL

Oh dear, I’ve promised I will refrain from posting nega on this blog. So, moving on…

Let me end this post by sharing with you the 7 Tools of Happiness by Bo Sanchez:

1. Happy people create their destiny
2. Happy people like themselves a lot
3. Happy people nurture connections
4. Happy people find delight everywhere
5. Happy people embrace change
6. Happy people trust deeply
7. Happy people work their purpose daily

Be happy, stay happy. Enjoy life!

Hot or Not?

They call it Top Knots. A casual no fuss look for when you don't have time to really style your hair specially on weekends. I do this at home, actually. Out in public? I'm not a fan. Hmm, reminds me of Miss Tapia.

Knot, a not for me.

Don't Worry, Be Happy

If there’s one trait that I want to get rid of without battling an eyelash, that would be my being a worrier.

I’m someone who likes to do things properly. I tend to worry about many things, which makes me restless (even at sleep I think…) Seriously, I hate it.

I envy those ‘happy-go-lucky-come-what-may-whatever’ type of people. Hmm, funny thing is, while I type this I suddenly felt scared for them! *haha* Oh no, what’s with me? See? I’m even worried about these people. Gosh.

I’m 100% sure I wasn’t born worrier not in my younger years. I think I began to acquire it only when I started working.

I had this not so good notion on people jumping from one company to another so I did my very best to make wise choices. I didn’t grab the 1st job opportunity that came my way. I had to wait for something I really like doing and it took me a year to get it. I’m someone a bit difficult to convince and it became a pattern/cycle since then.

In the beginning it was all at work but later on was extended on my choices in life. I was careful on my decisions. Sigurista. Virgo kase ako. Hay.

Are you guys like me? Or is it only me??? Yikes!

I have to program my brain to just be ‘in between’, a healthier option.

I want change. I want to let go of this feeling. SHOO!

When I was in St. Pio chapel, I saw something like “Pray, hope and do not worry”. I keep telling this to myself very so often.

It helps.

On a lighter note and to make myself feel better, *teehee* I made this Polyvore. *hehe* Walang lang.

There. I better get going and do other things that can help make 'the change' to reality. LOL.

Eon

Everyday I look forward not only seeing and touching Eon but taking care of him too! --- feeding, carrying, putting him to sleep, the works! Umm, except for diaper change and bath. *heehee*

Xave and I are so fond of him. He usually smells errrr….sniffs Eon from head to toe. There was even one time he bit DH's nose! *hahaha* Maybe he thought the nose was his ‘dede’. LOL

Some photos to share…

Xave feeding Eon *excuse for the ratty shirt (pantulog)* Eon in deep slumber. Hmm, the bed is ours reason for the girly color. *haha*

Loooooove Eon! ☺☺☺

Nakakainis!

After getting my Macbook unibody (aluminum), now here comes the Macbook Pro in 13”! Hard to resist, argh!

Steve Jobs never fails to surprise everyone. He even has a new iPhone 3GS and Snow Leopard!

Hmm…

I’m not so bothered on the iPhone though. 1st gen can still have the 3.0 firmware (I think) same goes with the 3G ones (I’m sure). It is just a matter of upgrading which I need so I can send/receive MMS.

Snow Leopard is something I can have for free (thank God!) and even share (Hello Kreci! ) This makes me excited!

Well, technology can really drain pockets especially for people like me who’s bleeding dry and no more room for further draining! *boohoo*

Oh gosh. I want the Macbook Pro…*sob*

P.S. Thanks to Kreci for teaching me how to post pictures in cluster. You rock! ☺☺☺

Match Made in Heaven

If I will choose one part of my life that I want to reminisce over and over, it is our wedding day.

Blissful, heartfelt and unforgettable.

When God Made You - Newsong

***click play to hear one of our wedding songs***

The fact that we tied the knot at our most ideal time and for the right reasons, with someone God created for us and whom we can’t imagine living without is priceless, incomparable and unduplicated.

Perfect! More than what we have imagined…

To be married to someone wholeheartedly is a great blessing. It’s a gift by God actually.

When I was younger, I said to myself that I wanted to start a family between the age of 25 and 27. When I reached that age, I still had doubts not only to my partner but more on to myself. So many times, proposals have been turned down. Until one day, at my/our most unexpected yet perfect time things fell into places. Thinking back, it was the time I/we had no single reservation, uncertainty or hesitation…whatever term that would describe such.

It was definitely worth the long wait.

Marriage is sacred. It’s a decision once you make it should be for ETERNITY. Definitely no turning back.

I watched the wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo (celebs) last night. It was admirable, no traces of showbiz factor. So genuine, overjoyed and also perfect...

I pray to spend looooong years with dear HubBEE (DH) until our hair turns gray, salt and pepper.

Awww...

Few minutes from now, we’ll be having dinner --- a daily routine in every household.

Tonight is different. HubBEE will cook for us! *whoa*

Couldn’t ask for more. ☺☺☺

World Stops for Pacquiao

Days ago, HubBEE gave me an assignment to check availability of pay-per-view for our farm/or home. Right there and then, I dialed Dream and Sky Cable’s numbers unfortunately they are not open to residential pay-per-view anymore. Hmmm, I knew there would be a problem…

Fast-forward today Pacquiao once again won by knock out in round 2! He is indeed a monster.

Got our Pacquiao tickets from Sports Plus Cafe / Circa Eastwood through the help of my very good doctor, Dr. A Ancheta. He’s friends with the owners so we got them at special price. *wink*

Sorry no pictures, forgot to bring my camera AGAIN.

Weekend is almost over, don’t forget to hear mass.

Bundle of Joy

Our nephew to Daddy Erik and Mommy Khryssy after a long long wait has finally arrived!

Name: Ethon Kristoff Banate
Nickname: Eon / Parents call him Pengi
Born: April 22, 2009 at 746am (Khryssy, correct me if I’m wrong) at the St. Luke’s Hospital.

He’s fragile yet so adorable. Haven’t carried him yet, I still don’t have the courage to do so but I’m touching him bit by bit. *heehee* He’s cheeks, arms and legs are so smooth like butter. Wanted to kiss him but maybe when he’s bigger. Hehehe.

I immediately sent a MMS to Xave (he’s at the farm) so he can have a peak of Eon. First thing he noticed was the lips, oh so red and the nose that he thinks Eon got from his Dad.

We took tons of pictures but will only share a couple here. I will let the Mom take the center stage and do the full documentation of what happened. I don’t want to steal the limelight to the brand new Mom, Khryssy. *wink* Congratulations! It’s all worth the wait, isn't it?

So here you go…

Eon at day 1
hmm, frowning at me baby? it's me your Tita Ninang

he winked at me on his day 1 (heart melting!)

Go home soon Sweetie, we are all waiting for you! *hugs*

Cute pasalubong from Kreci. Meet BEE-Bwit! He's a pen.

Was given to me few days ago. I thought of posting it here because I like it very much, so cute! Thanks Kreci!

Makes me miss my HubBEE so much.

I used my iPhone to take this photo. I can't believe resolution is this decent.. This was taken during Holy Week in La Union.

Le sigh…

P.S. This is a scheduled post. Done April 20, but will be posted the next day on a certain time. Wala lang, just want to try this feature...*hehehe*

Cleansing Oil

I’m a sucker of Shu Uemura cleansing oil. I’ve tried all variants but this one climbs the charts!

Brightening Cleansing Oil
For the first time, Shu Uemura has developed a brightening cleansing oil that prepares the skin for a radiant and translucent finish every time you cleanse. This gentle cleansing oil leaves the skin appearing more even-toned, translucent and smoothed. Dullness and dark spots seem to vanish.

2-in-1 cleanser and make up remover
Ideal for those with dull skin concerns
Suitable for all skin types
Available in 2 sizes: 150ml and 450ml (I always go for the big one, it's more economical)

I can't help but notice the scent. Reminds me of a certain perfume I can't remember the brand.

Will I repurchase?

YES!

It takes a year for me to finish the big bottle, I use it at night time only. In the morning, I use Cleansing Foaming Water instead.

Go, try it.
