Oh, all right.

The obligatory, self-indulgent why-I’m-not-bloging-at-the-moment explanation.

It’s the same story you’ll find on every third blog on the web: work and real life.

Work. I’m overwhelmed with too much of it. We are now in Q2 and I have to kick myself going to scale up my distributor and acquire channels. How? By closing my eyes while breathing in and out. No just kidding! I love my work, very challenging and it keeps me going and going and going like an energizer bunny. *hahaha*

How do reward myself this time? FOOOOOOOOD! Hmm, I want to go Persian tonight with HubBEE *wink* We had too much Thai last night…*hehehe*

Real life. Hoo boy! God is fair and good! *battling eyelashes* 'Nuff said.

TGIF Madness

We’ve been to Friday's twice this week. We can’t get enough of it! Friday's has been our all time favorite since yesteryears, Chili's included.

On our first visit, we had:

Chicken Nachos Fajitas (appetizer)
Chicken Fingers (me)
Jack Daniel’s Burger (hubBEE)
2 Bottomless Ice Tea

I was not able to touch my Chicken Fingers. I ate all the nachos! *hahaha*

I super love TGIF’s Wifi connection for FREE! I was able to Fring with some friends using my iPhone whilst waiting for our food *supah great* and Xave played Text Twist.

On our second visit, I decided to take some photos to remind us that we're over eating already and might need some dieting. *hahaha*

So here you go…

I had the rice changed to steam instead of the rice pilaf that usually goes with it. Requested for an extra Jack Daniel's sauce. One is never enough!!! *hahaha* They used to give choices of 1pc or 2pcs but not anymore. I was forced to take the 2pcs.! That's what you call "pigging out"! *guffaw*

We concluded our scrumptious feast with a very sinful, oh-so-yummy Mocha Mudpie!

What a good way to end the night...*beams*

Wow, what a long week. I’ve been running from one meeting to another, conference calls (concalls) from sun up to sun down. I’ve been working long hours lately catching up on those days I was out.

I left my Disty’s office at past 8 hungry, thirsty and tired.

While driving, I had to call a good friend for some updating then I remembered I had to drop by the grocery for HubBEE’s bilin --- 3 bottles of red Gatorade. Grabbed some chips for SIL, then a pack of tasty and Cheeze Whiz Pimiento. Tomorrow HubBEE is going to play airsoft and I want to make sandwiches for him to bring and share with his friends. *oye!*

Oh btw, I made a quick look on my Friendster and clicked HubBEE’s account. I was surprised to see this:

Concealed Tears

I was still, watching events happen uncomplainingly. Keeping mum on what I hear and things being thrown about me.

I know one day, I will lose this little patience I have. Afraid of what I might be capable of doing. When I’m mad, I fear no one.

My tongue can be as sharp as a sword, makes heart wounded. Very very very wounded. But I never lie. I live in truth. Truth can be hurtful to some, but set people free.

My most frightening day has come…that I have to speak up. Let the truth out.

I have no history of starting a fight. Never. But I bite when provoked.

I fight my own battle. Never beg on people to take sides on me. Sign of weakness it is! And perhaps guilt.

Reason for my courage, I have not done harm (on purpose) on anyone to begin with.

I’m secured of myself. I know where I stand. I never envy people. I’m happy of each and everyone’s success.

I was never afraid of failure, it inspires me even more to get up and work harder, become a better person.

Jealousy eats us up alive. I was never one.

Forgiveness. Is not freely given. Must be earned.

I was not born perfect, nobody is. I can be wrong and have mistakes. I have emotions, I am human. I get hurt on people trying their best to kick me out and look bad on people. But this hurt inside me makes be tough to resist! To fight back what is right and just. To prove you wrong. Very wrong. You will regret this day. Believe me. Tsk!

Girl, if you don't stop I will post your picture on this blog!!! I'm serious. I always do what I say.

I've said my piece. Time to move on...and let that person weep 'till her eyes cry blood!

Am I bad? Yes, I can be wicked on people doing me wrong. BINGO na eh!

Yay or Nay?

I don’t know if I will get mad or what but I can’t help but share this #$@%^& story that I came to know just right this minute.

Once upon a time, *hahaha* this girl told my very innocent SIL (if you don’t know what that means, then I’m sorry…) that my BF who is now my HubBEE had a relationship with this sexy celeb, MT. You will see her tomorrow in Wheel Of Fortune. I laughed! (read: bwahahaha) I have nothing against MT. I find her pretty and sexy. She has good taste in eye wears, bags, swimwears among others. I like her. SIL even added that this girl told her that I was not aware of the relationship. That it was a secret. That made me laughed out loud!

Why?

1. There is NO truth to that. Another tale-tell story!

2. HubBEE NEVER lied to me. He tells me anything and everything. Including the things that I don’t need to know. I don’t need to exert effort for me to know stuffs. Truth comes to me effortlessly.

3. Honesty is one of the keys to make relationships work. We have that.

4. I’m proud to say, I have peace of mind. *’nuff said*

So is it a Yay or Nay?

Trying It Out

Days after the wedding I was thinking of having my long locks styled. But then, I thought why not try something different for a change --- a little bob.

Here’s a month after the chopping...

M.Y.O.H. 2008

Unbelievable.

I remember the first Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) event inside Rockwell mall. It was a relatively intimate affair.

Two years after, now in Rockwell Tent. Huge venue, big crowd!



So what was the fuss all about?

Well, this year aside from the usual color combinations, which I find last year even better…they were offering unlimited embellishments, and funky fabric strips you can wrap around the straps of your flipflops. The fabric strips called Lacinhos that can be designed into gladiator sandals.


You can choose (unlimited) from any of these pins. You can spell out your whole name or chose from lifestyle pins (skateboard, headphones, skull, star, flower, crystal etc.) I had too much of crystals last year so I tried to do away with it this time.


It was an outrageous day in Rockwell Tent.

To date, I’m on my 28th pair already. I didn't know what made me so crazy with these flipflops. To think I rarely use them these days. I’m on heels for work everyday. Oh well...

I decided to go on the darker side and slims. Well for one, the options were limited. Two, most of what I have were on the bright shades and tops already. I was a bit upset though, I wanted to get 5 pairs but due to very few choices I walked out with 3 pairs.

I love MYOH because I get to express myself and put meaning to what I create. Here are my best effort designs, my loot:

I call this design #1 as HavMyName. *hehe* I spelled out my name on the left and put 2 sun pins on each. Sun, symbolizes hope. Sun gives us tomorrow, new beginning, better days. *wink*


I used graphite sole and metallic nude staps. HubBEE has the exact same design as this. Another addition to our His/Hers collection. *beams*

Design #2, HavvySexyFeet. *battling eyelashes* Oye! I always find black and red elegant and sexy. Can be dressed up and down. This is my favorite pair! I was actually thinking of skipping the pins and make it just plain. But I don't want to pass up the chance to use these '08 embellishments that might not be available on the next MYOH.


I simply used black sole and red straps in Slim with star and flower pins alternatively holed on both straps to serve as icing on the cake. *heehee*

HavSomeCottonCandy, my design #3. Refreshing to the eyes. Reminds me of HelloKitty, Cotton Candies, my childhood. Makes me happy and bubbly.

Light rose top to pair with crystal blue straps. I put HubBEE and my initials (T and X) with a female pin in between to break the light colors. Looks like sprinkles for ice cream. Yummy! *smiles*

Ah...Summer!

I feel like I’m moving in slow motion and everything around me is moving so fast…

I can’t believe summer is almost over. I want to go to the beach. I miss Boracay I find it unacceptable not to be able to get a nice tan. My swimwear and summer dresses were left inside my closet useless. *sigh*
