Lastest Fixation Part...( nah lost count!)

I admit that I’m an impatient lady...sort of 50-50% actually because there are times I can control myself. (shout: self-control) However, umm I failed this early…tsk!

My MAC haul

I couldn’t resist Heatherette and grabbed one since my very good friend, MR is still having a hard time getting Sculpt and Shape in US. *sigh* Heatherette can be used as sculpting powder anyway.

Heatherette and MSF

These brushes have been so useful to me for the longest time now. Seems like they want to retire anytime soon...*hahaha*

Bodyshop is the biggest and oldest brush you see and the rest are Suesh and Lancome brushes I got for free. I have only one MAC brush in 129 SE which cost me 1900 pesos. EXXXY! I can’t wait for my other MAC brushes I asked MR to buy for me. I was forced to wait and source them from US to save more moolah. Why not? Saving means I can buy more and more isn’t it? Kidding! *heehee*

2wks to go…I just can’t wait!

169 is my wish brush. It is a limited edition. (hint to HubBEE) *whistle*
HubBEE tolerates this kikay side of me. He even bought me a beaker to better organize my brushes once they arrive. Will show you how beaker can make my life easier SOON!

To my fellow make up junkies and wannabes, share your thoughts. *smiles* I'm thinking of going to make up class...*beams*

Surprise Package

One busy day, I was out for offsite meetings hungry, thirsty and tired. I decided to drop by the office to quench my thirst and download emails before going home. Little did I know that a package was waiting for me on my desk.

A gift from my boss CL who couriered the package from DELL Malaysia office.

It was a pink card and fruity perfume from Christian Dior. I immediately phoned her gave my big thanks. *smiles*

Unexpected gifts make me feel very special. *smiles*

Wish Stone

We made a couple of visits on the Wish Stone of Discovery Shores in Boracay. I made 2 wishes in total. *smiles* But this guy visited only once and took sometime to write all his wishes. I had to stay distant since he didn’t want me to read his wishes so I took pictures instead. Umm…

using brush and water to write down the wishes

ang dami naman yata...

all smiles *hahaha*
I made a few guesses and I think I hit one. *hehehe*

What a Birthday Treat!

It’s my birthday! So,

I decided to extend my stay to celebrate peace and quiet time here in Boracay. Like what I’ve said in my previous entries, I wanted to be away to a very busy Manila and appreciate Mother nature. *teehee* (hint: I’m stressed!)

I didn’t only extend my Bora trip but also my accommodation in Discovery Shores. Click here to know more about this resort.

I was impressed by their world-class facilities and service and wanted to share the experience to my HubBEE.

HubBEE followed together with my SIL, Amae. *yipeeee* I didn’t expect they'll make it since their flights were just confirmed 2 days ago. Luckily, they were able to get tickets!

Room 102
See the smiles on their faces? *haha* That's my room I shared with them which was at the pool side. 5 steps from the door and you're in the pool already!

Elevator in Boracay? YES!!! I was surprised as well...

What a best time to catch a Wish Stone and made a wish on the 23rd (day before my birthday) --- to have my flight back to Manila moved on the same schedule as HubBEE and SIL.

It was hard to resched/rebook flight. Headache! *pout* I got my wish 20mins after! How fast! *beams*

Enjoying the pool, 5 steps away from our doorstep

Off to dinner…

Falls behind us

still in Station 1, a few minutes drive from Discovery Shores

Footbath after all the walking. Best to have it before going to bed.

Bora-Bora Boracay!

Aug 21-23 was our DELL Partners Conference and was held in Discovery Shores Boracay. It was attended by DELL partners, of course. It wouldn’t be complete without our guests from Microsoft, Intel, APC, Emerson to name a few.

We had our own DELL sand castle made just for our event. Nice eh?

L-R: me, Andreas (big boss), Tey and Sarah

Night of the 22nd, I convinced them all to have some walk for the simple reason that I was craving for Choriburger. Any trip to Boracay wouldn’t be complete without these local specialties. I had mine in a bun.

L-R: Me, Tey, Eden, Sarah, Vicent (from APC region Singapore), Rosette, Rache and Shiela

Business trips like this, I definitely love! *wink*

Pocket Ouch!

I tend to be unpredictable at times specially when I’m pressured and stressed. I get impatient on almost anything and everything.

It was funny one time while having lunch with my officemates we shared our crazy dreams. All us four said we wanted to be plain housewives with kids of course. Oh dear, just to get away with the fast-paced environment at work. *hahaha* Well in fact we’re very much aware that being a housewife is a lifetime profession. We just haven’t experienced it yet reason why we were thinking of it as an escape goat for work. Silly us!

Anyway, to continue my post yesterday on my ding ding ding….

Ok, I want to do something different and new. For the past weeks, I’ve been crazy on cosmetics! Any girl would love make up, isn’t it? I’m so one of them! *wink* This time, I’m seriously interested in eyeshadows! I did my fair share of researches and with the help of my good friend Cyl, I was able to grasp the reality that I should be playing with colors. Hmm, I want to take up Basic Make Up class. I just need to tag a friend with me to make it more fun.

I’m so crazy on powders (mineralized), blushes and brushes! I can’t wait for my loot from Maita who will be going to US for a vacation. She will haul all these items for me! Yay!

Being an impatient gal I am with low E.Q., I was able to grab some stuffs locally --- mineralized natural, pink swoon blush, cork E/S and a 129 brush. I think I need more...So tomorrow, I’ll have more stuffs coming from Singapore (thanks to Mark G.) --- melba, prep + primer. I’m so tempted to get all the brushes here but the prices seem to be so steep compared to US prices. I decided to wait. *scratches head*

Oh there you have it. The crazy and impulsive side of me. *battling eyelashes*

Stress hurts my pockets! *sigh*

Over Worked!

I don’t know what’s with me. I’ve been so stressed at work many times last week I was almost in tears about to breakdown. Been a bit frustrated on some things (work-related, of course) and feeling tired of making things work often times justifying the country market situation to the regional management. They just keep on comparing Philippines to Indonesia that shouldn’t be to begin with. Totally different market, no point of comparison! Ugh! One time I’ve been meaning to shout just to release the tension in me. Impossible, our office is like a museum. So quiet. *hahaha*

Oh well…

Since I’ve quit cigs years back, the only way for me to de-stress is to go to the powder room and whip out my kikay kit. Oh dear, facing the mirror made me realized one thing --- I’m getting fugly! *pout*

I need some therapy --- retail therapy!

Hmm, every single night before going to bed I surf and surf for good finds in the net. I need something that will make me happy. *frown*

Ding ding ding ding!!! *beams*

Pepper Lunch

Had a dinner date with HubBEE tonight. He said I deserve a good dinner since I was out for a few days and been missing some good food. *wink*

We went to Pepper Lunch, both our first time. I was a bit reluctant to go. I’m been craving Korean but was convinced to try something new.

I had Shimofuri steak while HubBEE had his all-time fave Rib Eye steak.

KL- Day Three

I had to get out of bed real early today to catch my 10:25am flight. Umm, I don’t want to rush anymore. *HAHA* Also, I would like to check on the shops for some goodies to bring home. Hmm, I’m thinking of getting my 3rd Longchamp but this time in plum! Let’s see my luck later. *wink*

- to be continued -

Some photos to share.

Office reception people who helped me get a cab going to the hotel yesterday. While waiting , I took a picture of them.

Outside, was a big fountain.

The hotel limo that brought me to the airport, priced at RM120 ($37) with complementary water and very polite driver. Exxy!

At the airport and had to ride the train going to the other side for departure.

Jam packed!

OMG!!! I didn’t dare to go inside *hahaha*

Sigh...

KL - Day Two

Nothing special happened. Had a quick breakfast at the hotel and a very bad cafeteria lunch! *eeew* It was a chicken that tasted ginger which I really hated. I had the cold fries and potato salad only. *pout*

Skipped the afternoon Bootcamp, I was flooded with emails and I had to make some calls to see if my agency is doing the right thing for my event on the 19th. *slaps forehead*

Too tired, I didn’t join Paint Ball with my colleagues. I headed straight to the hotel to EAT (read: buffet - lots of prawns and steak!) and pack things for tomorrow. Yippeeee! I’m going home! *smiles*

See, I have nothing to share. I just had to write to somehow feel that I’m talking to some people. *loser* Tsk! Bad side of traveling alone. *sigh*

HubBEE gave me this book before I left for Malaysia. *sweet* He said, to keep me company. *smiles* Soopah big help BEE! *mwah*
Oh BTW, can you see that black Hardrock stirrer inserted in my book? It was given to me by Janess (one of the ladies in the phot last night) and thought of using it as bookmark. *cool*

Can't wait to be home...

KL - Day One

Whole day was spent in Dell office Cyberjaya for our Q3 business planning. For the past quarter, I was the only resource in our segment and in Philippines. This time around, we’re close to 25 people already from like Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines (myself), Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand among others. One big happy family if I may say. *smiles*

I’m on my 7th month now, still struggling since Dell is fast-paced maybe triple than my previous jobs. *whoa* I’m working double time simply because I’m the only person in Philippines from this group. I had to run the business remotely and all by myself. My boss is based in Malaysia, by the way.

There were times I stare at nowhere thinking whether I can survive! *hahaha* Incomparable! There were also times I miss my previous work in Samsung mainly because of the friends I worked with. They were my support group.

Oh well, things are way different now…I have to embrace change as they come my way right? *grin*

Alright, enough of drama. *hahaha* Let me continue my narration *muwahaha*

We had dinner and some drinks at Hardrock. Luckily, it was just 5 steps away from my hotel. I was able to retire earlier than the others who had to drive 40 minutes to reach home.

~SMB Channels Team~

You will see 6 Pinays in the picture including me. 5 are currently based in Malaysia to support Philippines. They are my Inside Sales Reps (ISRs) and very accomodating! *wink*

Well, that’s all for now. Need a shut eye. It was a long day!

KL- Day Zero

I almost missed my flight!

Lessons learned:

- double check everything before leaving the house NOT after… *haha*
- be in the airport 2hrs before the flight, atleast TRY! *hmm*
- presence of mind *haha* since I’m thinking of many things, I get distracted and tend to be forgetful…*sigh*

My flight was at 4:50pm. Arrived the airport twenty minutes past four! *guffaw* Landed Malaysia 8:25pm and hit the cab immediately. It was a 50-minute drive from KL airport to my hotel *faaaar!*

While I was in the cab, I was thinking whether I should be taking dinner or not. I want to go to bed early. HubBEE texted me not to eat heavy if I plan to sleep after. Okaaaaaay! I felt guilty so I ordered Caesar salad and fresh orange juice. *hehe*
I will post photo next time. I'm using my DELL laptop, don't know how to resize pic using Windows. *pout* 3 meg photo! *haha* I cannot retake it, I've finished my meal. *beams*

Hmm, I have to hit the shower. This lady is so tired and needs a shitload of rest!

Good night!
