I got this from mail today.

A very special gift from my cousin Maya who is in Canada (born here, raised there). It's a wish bracelet for soon-to-be-moms. It is handmade of delicate rose quartz and moonstone beads caught between sterling bead caps and strung on hand-linked sterling silver. A sterling rope toggle and a sterling turtle charm complete the bracelet.

Moonstone is said to have powers that aid in nurturing receptivity and balancing of the emotions. It helps prepare mama-to-be to welcome new life into her body and into her life.

Rose quartz are the beads of love and fertility. They are said to help promote pregnancy and to protect the mother and unborn fetus from miscarriage.

Turtles are a potent symbol of both protection and fertility.

Maya and I got married on the same date: March 29, 2008. It was a coincidence! They decided to have baby immediately while HubBEE and I opted to wait a little bit until we turn 1 year. We are going 1 in 11 days! *woohoo* It's been a year, seems like only yesterday... So, I guess this is the 'best time' if God permits. *wink*

Last month, she just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Mara.
