Having the privilege to work from home gives me quite a number of advantages. I get to access my Outlook anytime and anywhere there’s Wifi. I can start to work 9am sharp (though we are flexi-time) not having to drive to office and spend 30 minutes on the road, save gas and not having to dress up and put make up on that eats up 1 and ½ hours of my time every morning. *hahaha* Working from home makes me join my early conference calls (concalls) on time also. *smiles* They just have to patch me in on via mobile and I’m set to go.
However, on days that I’m on leave (like today) I get this itch of opening my Outlook --- initially to download emails, but eventually if I see tons of messages already I can’t help but read and reply. *tsk* Having myself end up working. *sigh* But today is different. I allotted 1 hour for me to peek and immediately shut down my laptop. No more looking back. *smiles*
HubBEE and I will be attending a wedding of his grade school friend and asked me to take a day off from work to join him and I did.
I get an average of 80 emails on a daily basis. At the back of my mind, I’m already thinking when can I catch up on my emails…definitely not this weekend and not next week since I’m again off for a business trip and still have 3 events to run.
Eeeeeek!
