I didn’t realize that my Technomarine Cruise has been with me for 5 solid years now and it never gave me any headache at all. That’s what you call “good purchase”.
I bought mine before everyone else got his or her own Technomarines. *hahaha* I’m one of the “first” to have it. I fell in love the first time I saw it with Claudine Barretto in her soap opera which I forgot the title already. That was way back 2002! Then, I didn’t stop searching for it and I waited for the color I wanted which is mauve. It comes with 2 gel straps (mauve and clear).
Here’s the evidence. Clear (on the left) Mauve (on the right)
Both straps have become yellowish already. Signs of use and abuse are very evident! *haha* I felt guilty and got a new strap (in time for summer, yeah!). I was looking for lime green but was out of stock. I ended up with raspberry instead. Still a good choice.

I've been thinking to upgrade and get the TMC Sun however, upon knowing that it has been with me for this long now I changed my mind. I'm very much happy with it.
I’m a type of person who maximizes whatever expensive finds I get. Of course, I’d always want to test its quality and worth. I’m glad my Techno has passed the test of time. *wink* I use it when I go to the beach (to swim and do water sports). Well, that’s where it belongs in the first place.
I take care of my things but never the manner wherein I make super effort to make ‘ingat’ of my things like OCs. *hehehe* This applies to my bags, jeans, eyewears, laptop, camera/gadgets, car, time pieces, et.al. Some people wipe and caress them or maybe sleep beside them *bwahaha* Me, I just place it anywhere!
Why stress yourself and ‘worship’ on these material things? That’s why you are paying premium --- for the brand, quality and peace of mind (that it will be ok), am I right? *battling eyelashes* The only key is to know how to ‘properly’ use it (so read the manual) and you are good.
