BEE Surprised...

It's weekend once again. I’ll have longer sleep and no reason to rush. Everything at my own pacing, I miss this life! *hahaha* But I still have to go back to my normal schedule come Monday. My countdown never ends…same goes with my lists! *wink*

Today I went to Queensbay mall with Karen for lunch. Before leaving the hotel, I promised myself not to buy at all. Argh! Prices in Malaysia are waaaaaay cheaper than Philippines. I can’t really help myself not to buy! My loot mostly from Roxy (my super favorite shop), Mango, Topshop and Forever 21 (not the ones you see in Manila ha, those are local stores a.k.a. copycat). For the benefit of others who do not know, Forever 21 is like Zara and they have in US and Singapore to name a few. You can also buy online. *smiles*

Oh, how can I leave without something for my Bee? I’m sure he will be surprised to see this.

Shoe-fiend + Bag-addict = ???

For the longest time Xave has been a Ferragamo fan. He has 3 pairs already used during highschool and college days and college graduation. They really stood the test of time that’s why I can’t blame Xave to be a loyal fan of this brand.

Xave is again thinking of getting a new pair for our big day. However, looking at Ferragamo’s styles now I feel nothing has changed. Everything looks the same 10 to 15 years back. No innovation. I’m not happy, same goes with my H2B (read: hubby to bee).

Today, I brought him to the money-spending place in the metro--- Greenbelt 4! He hates going there because I keep on burning time and money on the shops there most especially in the House of Monogram. But I always say, anything there is good investment. (think: quality, lifetime warranty, you can pass stuffs on to your great grand children, et.al. plus birthday cards they send right at our home. *smiles* Oh yeah, justify-justify! *wink*

I used to get 20% discount on all shops in Rustan’s (except cosmetics) and Greenbelt 4 (except LV) through a friend working for Stores Specialist. It saddens me to find out that she left already for a publication company and that made me think that we have to pay 100% of the shoes' tag price. Ugh!

Anyhooooo to make the long story short, Xave was convinced to get this pair and we got it on sale! *woohoo*




Oh gawd, this is frightening...What happens when a bag-addict meets a shoe-fiend? Uh-oh… G.A.S.T.O.S!

At Last

At last, the tote I've been wanting is now in my hands...

I got the UK edition (brown). Thanks to Glenda a.k.a. thelvlady in Multiply. She sells guaranteed authentic bags. Yep, costs higher than the released retail price but um, this is my choice. *wink* It's limited edition and I can't find it anywhere. Well, that's the price I had to shell out to get one...*sigh* At the end of the day, I am happy! *smiles* Well, I think that's more important. *heehee*

Enough said. *beams*

P.S. For those who are still on the search of Anya Hindmarch's I'm Not A Plastic Bag, visit this site. It's a good guide on how to tell a fake Anya. People, please don't buy just anywhere. There are a lot of resellers claiming they're bags are original however, some are honest enough to say what they have are good imitations. But still, why buy fake? I don't understand. Anyway, this bag is all over the city and in the internet. Be cautious. As you don't want your money to be put in trash right? Believing that you got a genuine well in fact it's one of those good knock-offs. Careful ladies.

People (including me) are getting crazy and frantic to grab one or two of Anya Hindmarch’s “I’m Not A Plastic Bag”.





However, Anya’s official website announced that all “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” bags have now sold out in the U.S. *sob* To top that off, Anya is canceling or has already cancelled the launches in Beijing, Shanghai and Jakarta. *sob sob sob* So, how on earth will I be able to grab this most coveted “cheap” bag? UK maybe? *hahaha*

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of this bag in Multiply priced at Php1500 ($33), original Anya will cost us around Php700 ($15) only and I’m pretty sure these are knock-offs from China. Obviously, they are! Considering the scarcity of this bag, how would they be able to supply the demand of people right? Common sense. They have all versions (US, UK, Asia, Japan), in all available colors and are now open for pre-ordering. Whoa! In fairness to the sellers, they are not claiming that what they are selling are the authentic ones. So, I have to give them credit for that, for being honest. Way to go girls! ☺

I’m persistent, I would still try my luck to get one these. I’m keeping my fingers crossed! I hope my friend from UK, Gay is reading this *yuhooooo* You are my only hope. *wink*
