It's official! =)

We fit together
Like puzzle pieces
Like spoons nestled close
Like two words that rhyme

We’ve been transformed
By loving so deeply
As we’ve traveled together
Through the pathway of time.

March 28, 2008 marked our 10th year anniversary as a couple.
March 29, 2008 the beginning of our lives as husband and wife.

Today, 2 days since our wedding...

I have yet to see the official photos and videos from Smartshot Studio (our official photographer/videographer). Thanks to some friends who played paparazzi during our big day. Geez, the cameras that night were overwhelming! *hahaha*

Here are some teasers. *wink* Mostly, taken by our Kuya Bing (Robert's bro).

Shower Party 03.15.08

I haven’t been to any shower party in this lifetime. I didn’t know that my 1st would be my own party. *smiles* So, naturally I was left clueless on venue, guests, and main event.

Call time was 9pm but I was late for an hour and a half. I had my power nap in the afternoon and overslept. So it took me some time to prepare. Xave and I were actually late in meeting up Khryssy, too! *sorry!* We convoyed going to the meeting place and Khryssy hopped in with me. Of course, shower parties are intended for the ladies so Xave had to step back and we parted ways along Ortigas.

The ladies prepared this all for me. *BIG thanks to all, mwah!* Victoria Suite Room 253 was reserved for us.

It was a funny experience for Khryssy and myself to be driving along Pasig and making that left turn. *hahaha* I was so conscious that some people might recognize my car and realized we were starting to get lost in that vicinity! *bwahahaha!* We didn’t know exactly where to turn left. I had to roll down my window to talk to the guys outside waiting for hmmm, signals. Then we thought, why should we mind them in the first place? We’re just going to a party. Justification not needed. *beams*

Anyway, let me share with you some of the snapshots during the unforgettable party in room 253. *wink*

Maita getting mad na yata because I didn't want to be blind folded...*hahaha*

Here we go....Yikes!

Someone grabbed my hand and place it to the stripper's chest! I felt the skin...He was topless and I freaked out! Next, I felt someone was doing a lap dance on me. I was in tears behind my eye cover but I can't do anything as I've been hearing people shouting "kasama sa bayad yan!" So I felt guilty and tried to compose myself but I hear people roaring and got more scared...Then, somebody removed my blind fold and I saw Xave right in front of me. I threw him my big tight hug and I bawled! *waaaaaaa* It was a different feeling all together. I was scared to death and at the same time relieved to see it was Xave. *whew!*

Everyone was laughing out loud. *huwaaaaaaa!*

Bestman and Groom as "strippers"!!!

The culprits: Tricia & Maita

Connivance in action: Khryssy, Lizzy & Xave

My girlfriends: Tricia, Amby, Maita, Lizzy, Kate and Khryssy

Ladies with the Groom (This is a favorite photo)

All married couples except us (soon-to-bee!) *wink*

You guys really made my night! Thanks for this memorable evening. This is a story worth sharing to our future kids and grandchildren. *hahaha*

Thanks to all!

P.S. My apologies for the late post. We've been soooooo busy with the preps. Some more pictures still to be uploaded in Multiply and Facebook. I'm just waiting for others to hand me my copy of pictures from their cam. Stay tuned. *wink*

2 days in KL

2 weeks passed and I can’t believe I’ve survived this long! 13 days feels like 130 days. I admire a friend of mine, Jeng who is in Spain now for school and I guess she has to be there for years. I wonder what she does every time she thinks of home, her family, old friends and hmm, Pinoy food! Jeng, I always admire you for being so independent (since highschool). *smiles* How's your W-plans?

When I left Penang yesterday for Kuala Lumpur, I bid goodbye to my girl friends and I was in sudden state of being where in I didn’t want to move towards the door. I felt my heart sort of tighten (of course, I’m exaggerating) because I felt the pain in them. The sadness in their moisten eyes speak a thousand words. They all wanted to go home. Proven, it is always easier to leave than be left. (in all phases!)

Btw, for some of you wondering what am I doing here in KL. There is a Dell office (aside from the one in Penang, which is the head quarters if I may say) here located in Cyberjaya where my team is based. Failed to take pictures, I was extremely busy the whole day.

Hmm, maybe I can share my hotel room and bathroom instead. *beams* I always have this thing for very nice rooms and bathrooms. Err, I think I have mentioned it many times here already. Sorry for the redundancy. *smiles*

Here you go…

King size bed just for Moi, my work table on the left side

I opened the sliding door so you can see my bathroom on the right side

bathroom main door

and this is my bathroom

my sink which I find small...

my tub for my warm bubble bath
Robes that I rarely use, too big for me...
The TV failed to impress me

My bed minus me *hehehe* I like the effect of the headboard lights

This is Shangrila Putrajaya by the way which is far better than my hotel in Penang, Equatorial Hotel. But still, nothing compares to Ritz Hotel of Jakarta. Superb!I will post the picture here when I get back to Manila.

Woooohoooo! I can’t wait for tomorrow. I better wash up now and jump to bed. There’s only one flight going to Manila which is 10am, I can’t imagine myself missing it. *hahaha*

Goodnight peeps!

OFW

OFW stands for Overseas Filipino Worker.

I have this enormous admiration for all OFWs. Last night, I was in a house party and I had the privilege to meet a number of Pinoys (Filipinos) here mostly are working for IT industry --- Dell, IBM and Intel. Good companies I may say. They are truly blessed to have the opportunity to be working for these multi-national/multi-billion companies however, for the single people they have to sacrifice and be away from their families. Lucky for those who are married as they can bring their husband and children all expenses charged to the company they are working for children’s education and housing included. What a great deal, right? Who can say no to that?

Albeit all these, there’s still sadness in their eyes.

Everyday routine would be house-office-house. It’s all work! On weekends they go to the mall, eat out, shop and evenings are for house parties. They usually do house party hopping. One week can be at one’s place then the following week would be on someone else’s house. Eat, drink, kwentuhan, drink, dance. That’s their typical life here.

Then one moment I was thinking whether can I survive a set up like that and I heard myself whispered, “NO I can’t…”. *sob*

Today is my 7th day here and I’m beginning to feel gloomy. If not because of my friends and laptop, I’d weep! *haha* I can’t wait for Saturday!!!

To lighten up the mood, let me share with you some of our photos.

Queensbay Mall @ Starbucks

@ Jamie's appartment with all the Pinoys

Can you see those good food? Yummy! I suddenly miss my Mommy's kare kare *sob*

Surely, I will miss them all. On the contrary, we work in the same company and we have this thing in our laptops called communicator wherein we can keep in touch with anybody in Dell, worldwide. *smiles*

BEE Surprised...

It's weekend once again. I’ll have longer sleep and no reason to rush. Everything at my own pacing, I miss this life! *hahaha* But I still have to go back to my normal schedule come Monday. My countdown never ends…same goes with my lists! *wink*

Today I went to Queensbay mall with Karen for lunch. Before leaving the hotel, I promised myself not to buy at all. Argh! Prices in Malaysia are waaaaaay cheaper than Philippines. I can’t really help myself not to buy! My loot mostly from Roxy (my super favorite shop), Mango, Topshop and Forever 21 (not the ones you see in Manila ha, those are local stores a.k.a. copycat). For the benefit of others who do not know, Forever 21 is like Zara and they have in US and Singapore to name a few. You can also buy online. *smiles*

Oh, how can I leave without something for my Bee? I’m sure he will be surprised to see this.

Oakley Romeo 2.0

He’s been looking for this exact frame and titanium lens which is not available in Manila. I can’t wait to see him! *beams*

Here’s a peek of what I got for myself. *heehee* I really have this thing for Roxy, I don’t know why.

bag, multi-purpose bag/pouch and a belt (for office use)

Others packed in my luggage already, too late to take a snapshot…

I better get going, I’m attending a house party. Ciao!

Thought Balloon

It’s Sunday once again and tomorrow is another Monday…back to work!

I’m staring at my closet and thinking of what to wear tomorrow. I usually think of my work clothes at least a night before if not for the entire week. (I list them down actually) I would want to have a wardrobe plan if I may call it that way. Why?

Every single minute counts! I habitually spend too much time on changing clothes one or two times before I hit the right one and for me that is waste of time and worst, I end up late in the office. I want to kick some bad habits and be organized (see my new year resolution #7). *teehee*

Now going back to my closet, I see a lot of stuffs in there but I can’t pick anything. *guffaw* I realized, I have so many things ignored and still hanging in there eating a bunch of space. Uh-oh, I need to de-clutter and probably give away things I never touched for eons now. Believe me, I have a lot! Umm, (thinking again) de-cluttering will make my closet eventually be emptied! *hahaha* So, going on shopping can be justified, don’t u think so? *wink* It’s 2008 anyway. I can’t even remember when was the last time I shopped for work clothes. Am I breaking my new year resolution #4? *hahaha* Please say "NO"!

Moving forward, I can’t wait to have my new closet, hopefully a walk-in one in my new room errr, our new room in our very own new place with my dream bathroom. *haha* This is exciting! *giggles*

Uh-oh, it’s almost 10pm and I’m stuck here hallucinating! *muwahaha* I have to rummage through my closet now if I want to have longer slumber tonight. (Getting up in the morning is just hard to do!) There must be something in there that would be great for tomorrow, at least.

I hope you guys spent your weekend wisely! Good night peeps!

"R U 1 of Us?"

Now, I am! *smiles*

I’ve been a Smart Gold subscriber for many years now. It’s just hard to let go because of the good mobile numbers that Xave and I have. His number is 0xxx-9241388 and mine is 0xxx-9241399. Nice numbers aren’t they? These numbers have sentimental value for us and it’s just so difficult to give them up. I’m actually thinking whether I’d still keep mine or otherwise. Hmmm…

Then, today I made a big switch to Globe! *heehee* and I used our anniversary date as my last 4 digit numbers, 0917-xxx0328. Sooner or later, Xave will give up his number as well and get 0917-xxx0329 which is our wedding date naman *teehee* We are just waiting for our contracts to end.

I’m officially a Globe subscriber now and I got this Nokia E90 phone for FREE! *chuckles*

I will use this unit for a week or so only while waiting for my iPhone to arrive (can’t wait!) then, I will hand this unit over to Xave as requested. Umm… I’m in fact telling him that I’d want to sell this unit and use the moolah to buy my iPhone but all I get is a big frown from him. *haha*

Xave deserves this phone. Surely, he can better maximize the features of this unit than me. *heehee* It's just too big for me and will just add weight to my bags. *grin*

So, tomorrow I'll be sending my new mobile number to all contacts in my phonebook. I'm sorry, I can't post my new number here for privacy reasons. *smiles*

For my friends that are out of the country, I will message you my new number via Friendster, Multiply or YM.

Time for shuteye!

A Blessing

Here’s my new year pressie that came to our mailbox on the eve of new year.

It’s just so nice to start 2008 right. *wink*

2007 was a good year and I’m looking forward for a better 2008 not just for me but for my family and friends.

I’m determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may be. For I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and NOT upon our circumstances.

Be positive. I always believe that a strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug. By changing the inner attitudes of our minds can change the outer aspects of our lives.

Have faith. There's always a reason behind all things, yes ALL THINGS! *wink* You just have to patiently wait for the right time and answers will eventually unfold right before you.

For many times, I've been a witness of this and as much as possible I want other people to strengthen their faith, too. My small way of repaying the good deeds that are coming my way.

My 8 in 2008

I want to...

1. Spend more time with FAMILY and FRIENDS
A must do’ especially now that I’m getting married soon.

2. HEALTH is Wealth
It’s about time to take extra care of myself. I’m so lazy to take any vitamins/medicines, I can’t stick to it unless really needed. This year, I promise to take all the necessary vitamins to ready myself incase we agree to have a child immediately. Yes, we have to agree because as of this time, I don’t want it yet. This may change along the way so let's just see...

3. Enjoy life MORE
This has always been my life project, enough said.

4. GET OUT of debt
I want to zero-in all my balances in my credit cards within the 1st quarter. 'A must do'!

5. Learn something NEW
Hmm, cooking perhaps.

6. Help OTHERS
This is my lifetime mission.

7. Get ORGANIZED
I have to force myself to get organized! Starting off with my closet --- clothes, shoes, bags, papers/documents, a lot!

8. Be POSITIVE
I simply want to avoid all the negative things that can turn me into a monster. I will try my best not to be influenced or affected by the emotions of other people.

It’s nice to sleep soundly, with a smile on your face isn't it?

Yey! My first post in 2008! *beams*

Happy 2008!

Quality Time

I just have to make a quick entry, I’m not feeling well. Maybe it’s because of the sudden change in weather. I keep on sneezing, my nose is running and my head is killing me! Oh well…

Anyways, yesterday Xave and I had Christmas dinner in Jack’s Loft Eastwood and it’s nice to have some serious talk from time to time. It’s just so surprising that Xave is more into details and long term planning than me. Something not usual with other guys I know.

I thought of posting this picture of us. Our Xmas photo on our his and her shirts (again). *wink* Our last Xmas as single people.

Let me share some of our discussions. Hmm, we were talking about the uniform and his rules/regulations for the yaya of our soon-to-be babies! My goodness! I have yet to conceive and our wedding is yet to come! *heehee* The TV he wanted to install in my car so our soon-to-be baby can watch Barney (daw). This one really made me laugh out loud! Theme of our soon-to-be house. He wanted to personally be involved in the designing and I’d have to be at the back end I agreed (yes I did!) but insisted of designing our bathroom instead. I have this thing for nice bathrooms and I want ours to have his and her sinks. *wink* That’s it and I can leave everything to him. I know him so well. Everything he plans very well. Unlike me, I’m not good at it.

Today, is pamper day for Xave and myself. We went to the Nail Loft, our new discovery and had a few services. The place is not crowded and there is no disturbing smell that I often experience in California Day and Nail Spa (CANS). The girls are very warm and always have nice smiles on their faces.

We tried the hand and feet paraffin aside from the usual pedi and mani with footspa. We were both flabbergasted when the girls handed us our eye mask with real cucumber. It was soooooo relaxing to the eyes! I had my nails in red while Xave had his favorite footspa with big bubbles. *haha* It’s nice to share moments like this with Xave because I can see that he is really enjoying. I love to make him happy.

As I write this, my BEE is driving himself to Bataan. I’m just waiting for him to arrive in the farm and I can go to sleep.

Gotta go people!

Unforgettable!

I have 3 experiences that I will never forget in this lifetime (to add to the many others…) *haha*

1. I was almost robbed!

Yes, right in front of our office. How? I was about to ride my car when I saw this guy in white rushing towards me. Thanks to my gut feel and presence of mind. I hurried myself inside the car and immediately locked my doors. I think he was trying to say something to me I don’t know because my windows were closed. Then, I started the engine and jerked the car towards him when he went in front of me. I was stunned when he started pretending to guide me going out of the parking. Duh?

2. I passed out!

Uh-huh! Where? In a place in Manila called Tabora. Known for very affordable Christmas decors. My bad, I had coffee only in the morning and it was past lunch time already and we haven’t taken our meals yet. I was woozy, and the last time I remembered, I went to Xave to tell something and BOOM! That was my 2-second of fame! *heehee* I was conscious after 2 seconds and hurried ourselves to the nearest fast food (Jollibee) for lunch. I felt drowsy after.

3. I cried a river!

Where? In a movie house! *muwahaha* Xave, me and Amae watched ‘One More Chance’ last night it was the only movie that made me cry a river! I don’t like the main characters but that didn’t stop me to see it. I love how the story was put to life.

In life, anything goes! Not bad to experience these things, what is important I'm still in one piece. That is more than enough for me.

Take extra careful, peeps!

Golden Birthday

Xave is in town. As expected, we hit the malls and pigged out. Two of the many things Xave miss when he’s at The Farm. Well, same goes with me. *heehee* Malling/enjoying good food is never the same sans Xave. While I write this, I can feel my legs in pain for walking half a day and my stomach so full because of excessive eating! *haha*

Earlier, we had a lunch date. Just the two of us. I was so filled and my eyes were dropping but I didn’t want to shake off the momentum of Xave wanting to go places. I had to fight my drowsiness. *beams*

Tonight was another event. It was a post-birthday dinner treat for his Dad in Minato and it was on us. It’s supposed to be a surprise dinner treat for him but for unavoidable situation, it became no surprise anymore. It was indeed a scrumptious feast!

Here’s Tito obviously enjoying the So Kal Bi among others

Happy Golden Birthday Tito! We love you!

P.S. It would be happier and complete if Erik was with us…

Road Trip + Surprise Call

I skipped work today to avoid the NLEX traffic. I can't conceal my excitement while I drive myself to Bataan. I miss my Bee very much. I can't wait to see him, hug him big and tight. I miss how he makes each day of my life euphoric.

Driving alone makes me reflect on things and do crazy stuffs to wriggle out boredom and sleep.

1. I had movies in my mind. Situations and scenarios that I would like to happen anytime in the future. Sometimes, it's just so high to day dream and when I dream, I dream big. *heehee* Why not? It's free!

2. Had a new playlist in my iPod. Played them in full blast and I was singing like I was in my solo concert. *haha* Thanks to my magic tint, my identity was guarded. *battling eyelash*

In between, I was chomping Kitkats.

Almost an hour after reaching the farm whilst I was in a middle of my nap, I heard "How to Save A Life" playing. It was my phone ringing pala. I'm in total disbelief to receive a call from Mr. BB.

If you're a frequent reader of my blog, you know who he is. For the benefit of those who happen to bump my blog just now, Mr. BB is the Country Manager of this company I called "my first choice" in my previous entries. The company I've been meaning to be part of. The same company I was about to join in 2005 but missed on purpose because of Samsung's counter offer. I almost regret missing that opportunity but as I've said I never deplore anything in my life. I always believe that things happen for a reason. You may not understand in the beginning but later on when the right time comes, the justification of that action or event will unfold.

Missing an opportunity is one thing, getting it for the 2nd time is something! No more turning down this time. I'm gonna grab it! *beams*

The Long Wait Is Over

Finally, Leopard to ship in October 26! (27 in Manila)

Xave is leaving for Bataan tomorrow. He’s back to work and he’ll be away for like 20 days. I will surely miss him! *no doubt* Another adjustment for me but it’s fine. I embrace change. I can visit him on weekends anyway, that is if he’ll allow me to drive alone. Sometimes, he tends to be so protective. As if I never drive alone to and from Bataan. *sigh* So, what’s the connection of Leopard to Xave?

BIG!

Leopard will help me divert my attention from Xave not being here to my Macbook and that’s what you call right timing! *hahaha* Can’t wait to let Xave know about this Leopard coming next week. He’ll be twice as excited as I am. *beams*

Long Weekend It Is

I’m exhausted but I’m happy. Essentially, these are the things that transpired:

Weddings…get set go!!! Bridal Fair @ Rockwell Tent
(October 13, ’08 Saturday)

Xave and I went to the bridal fair, hoping to book a designer but we failed. Edd Sy was the only one who joined the event and we were a bit disappointed. We wanted more options. *sigh*

We saw a special gift for our Principal Sponsors (ninongs and ninangs). It’s the same gift Cardinal Sin gave to Pope John Paul II that is currently displayed in Vatican together with the other gifts received by Popes (not by Pope John Paul II only). Impressive isn’t it? We didn’t think twice about getting them. Can’t wait to personally hand them to our Principal Sponsors and to have one, too! *wink*

We met Lito Genilo (by accident) in person! *funny* His the best supplier we have to date. Can’t wait for our February Pre-Nup Pictorial! *heeeheee*

Bataan (Oct. 13 to 14, ’08 Saturday and Sunday)

Today is my nephew Tomi's (Thomas Peter) christening. He’s bigger and fairer now! I was holding him almost the entire day. I love him and I miss already. *straight face*

Tomi's best shot (irritated, hot inside the church)

Tomi with me in a barong

Tomi with Mommy (his Momma)

Tomi with Tita (his soon-to-be Momma #2, or maybe Momsy?)

Xave with 3Ts: Tammy, Tracy and Tomi

Today is also the "Pamanhikan" of Xave's family to my family. It went well. No more awkward feeling as they have met several times already in my almost a decade of relationship with Xave. Seeing Tita and Mommy do their usual "beso-beso" made us feel so differently. Exceptionally in bliss!

I was in the passenger seat all through out the trip. Umm, I have a little confession to make. *giggles* To and from Bataan, Xave kept on playing wedding songs (from the CD we got from the fair and from my iPod). He is actually looking for the best wedding song to play while I walk down the aisle. *sweeeeeet* I can’t help but shed tears *shy shy* whilst listening to these songs either once or over and over. *hahaha* Oh well, I just hope he didn’t see me in tears. *teehee* But I guess, he did. *pout*

We have 2 songs in mind and still searching then, Xave will choose later on. Oh, suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please leave comments. *smiles*

So that’s it for now, can’t think much. My stomach is making some weird noise, hungry maybe. Gotta go for dinner.

P.S. Tonight is the premier of PBB, let’s see if the names listed below will make it inside. I’m dead curious, really!

Two Hearts, A Thousand Details

Commitment, Intimacy, Partnership…these concepts characterize perhaps the greatest milestone of any individual’s life. A wedding is a cause for excitement and meticulous preparation for both man and woman.

Getting married is neither a piece of cake nor a bed of roses. It is a tedious process that needs careful planning. Things need to be done by priority and according to the need --- we could not just do anything at random. A wedding checklist would help with the things that we need to accomplish first up to the minutest details that we need to bear in mind on our wedding day. After many reading and browsing finally, I got hold of a checklist to aid us on the timetable for our much-awaited wedding.

We still have a long way to go. Now that I’m back to work, I don’t have the luxury of time to do more research and meet many suppliers. I’m left to rely on referrals and this makes me upset. Today, I skipped work to be able to finalize the entourage and some other things with Xave aside from the fact that I’m a bit sluggish lately.

I have to urgently come up with a theme and motif. We’ll be meeting some designers and I need to have atleast a theme and motif in mind. I just don’t know why my brain is not properly functioning. Argh!

Lately, I find time so precious. I simply do not want to waste a single minute idle. With a long weekend coming, I hope to accomplish loads of things to do.

Down in the Dumps

What a gloomy day!

Today, I woke up at the wrong side of bed. I feel so grumpy, I don’t wanna get out of bed, I don’t wanna go to work but I still did. At work, I feel so heavy and was dragging myself to do stuffs. Being a Virgo that I am, I cannot force myself to do things I don’t feel like doing. I find it hard to PRETEND. My friends say, I won’t make a good actress *haha* and I strongly agree! I’m so transparent. If I don’t like you, you will feel it in your spine, in your bones, in your head, in your heart in all of you. *wicked sistah*

Xave knows me inside out. Oftentimes, he knows me better than I do. He knows how to handle me very well, and I love him for that. He fully grasps on how I can go freaky and cranky at one time and the opposite the next minute. *heehee* Yes, I am indeed crazy especially during my red days. *over sharing* This hormone thing, he understands.

My mood was reflected in today’s weather. At 12 noon, I heard some thunders and I thought it was raining outside. The sun in its peak despite the loud rumbles up there surprised me. Strange isn’t it? *like moi today* Around 3pm it rained so hard while the sun is still up. I can even feel its rays piercing my left cheek while driving home. Oooppss! *slip of the tongue, errr fingers* Yes, I left the office early. *blushing*

P.S. Happy birthday to my dear friend, Len E. Mare, wish you all the best this world can offer + a bonus, Mr. Right. *mwah*

Chances Are

Life can be so tricky!

If you don’t know how to play the games of life, you will always be longing for more and the impossible which equivalents to ending up unsatisfied and frustrated. You just want to get all of what you can get albeit having a handful already. Oftentimes, breaking the rules. Endlessly competing with yourself and/or others. Goal of being on top and having authority that you believe will give you the recognition you’ve been longing to obtain not only from your colleagues/friends but also from your family who’s been expecting way too much from you. And you believe this is the best way to prove yourself to these people because they’ve been thinking that you haven’t done anything good all your life.

Think again.

********

Night before my first day at work, I got an SMS from a former officemate and said Mr. RDV (ex-Country Manager of HP) has been looking for me to work with/for him. Another IT company.

Today, (my 2nd day of work) another call came. It was from IBM, a company I’ve dreamed of working right after graduation. Tempting it is!

I chose to give more importance to my values, my credibility, my word. I’m always careful with the choices I make. I both use my head and heart in any big decision in my life. I don't go for half-baked decisions. It has always to be 100% sure!

Honestly, it’s hard to ignore things coming my way now but Mr. DBA (our president) gave his full trust and confidence on me. I don’t want to break it. My values are intact. I don’t want to be blinded with money. They’re treating me very well. They don’t deserve someone who will just drop them like a hot potato. I’m happy to be working with them.

First Day @ Work

When one door of happiness closes, another opens. But often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one, which has been opened for us.

It’s my first day at work and I was late for 15 minutes! *yikes* Our office hours are from 9am to 6pm. It was hell of traffic everywhere because it’s first day of the week and almost everybody is in a rush. I was so embarrassed being late on my first day but found out later on that my time is flexible and I don’t need to do time in/out. Lucky! (read: I miss HP days!)

So what did I do today?

I read like 5 IT magazines and a newspaper, mingled with some colleagues which 3 of them I knew from my previous jobs whilst waiting for my laptop. It came almost after office hours. *sigh* My laptop is an Apple 15” Powerbook G4. It’s beautiful! Though it’s not bad to wish for a Macbook Pro. *teehee* I might get lucky again! *mumbles*

I did my round of blogs and was happy to see Cathy’s blog with pictures. Geez, she is doing good! Keep it up, Cathy! *smiles* I cannot share her blog address, it’s private and shared to her limited friends only. *wink*

My eyes are dropping now. I have to end this post. I hope I can share something interesting in the next few days or so.

P.S. I modified my Cbox, I got tired of the yellow box. I also changed my Tickerfactory. It used to be a countdown for Christmas. It's now our Wedding countdown. 5 months, 3 weeks and 6 days to go and a new chapter of my life will unfold.
