I Want to Meet Him

Almost 15 minutes but very worth watching.

I’m a die hard fan of Steve Jobs. He is such a genius! I hope to meet him someday. *wink*

Three stories from the man behind Apple’s success:

1. Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something --- you gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

2. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.

3. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma --- which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

MacBook Air

The Macbook Air is out!

Steve Jobs never fails to impress us! He is such a genius, isn’t he?

Features:

- weight: 3lbs.
- 13.3 inch full display
- 1.6 Ghz or 1.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo
- 2gb RAM
- 80gb HDD
- Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor
- 802.11n wireless technology
- built-in iSight camera
- no optical drive, so you have to buy the external optical drive for $99

So are you guys thinking of getting one?

At the price of $1799, I probably won’t…the specs is actually lower than the Macbook out in the market including mine after the upgrade in RAM. But I love the aesthetic part of it! So sleek and sexy! *whistles*

The Leopard Experience

It's hard to contain my excitement when Leopard was finally installed in my Macbook. I was so eager to drive home and explore the 300+ features of it. I doubt if I'd be able to go over them one by one. That would be insane! *heehee*

I'd still need more time for enjoy this little joy of mine. Something to do on my days off!

To my fellow Muggers, why kill yourself of waiting some more? Go get one! *beams*

The Long Wait Is Over

Finally, Leopard to ship in October 26! (27 in Manila)

Xave is leaving for Bataan tomorrow. He’s back to work and he’ll be away for like 20 days. I will surely miss him! *no doubt* Another adjustment for me but it’s fine. I embrace change. I can visit him on weekends anyway, that is if he’ll allow me to drive alone. Sometimes, he tends to be so protective. As if I never drive alone to and from Bataan. *sigh* So, what’s the connection of Leopard to Xave?

BIG!

Leopard will help me divert my attention from Xave not being here to my Macbook and that’s what you call right timing! *hahaha* Can’t wait to let Xave know about this Leopard coming next week. He’ll be twice as excited as I am. *beams*

Gadgets + Accessories

iPod Shuffle
What’s new? Still in 1GB but is now available in 4 new colors (red, sea green, light blue and purple) aside from the orignal silver.

iPod Nano
The new Nano sports a totally different look with it’s square shape and 320x240 resolution display. Also covered in anodized aluminum, polished stainless steel and available in different colors.

4GB and 8GB are a little too small for videos, don’t you think?

iPod Classic
Completely new, thinner and all-metal design. Can hold up to 160GB worth of data. What more can you ask more?

iPod Touch
Phoneless iPhone! Pretty much that’s what it is! Multi-touch interface, 3.5 inch of widescreen display and Wi-Fi web browsing.

iPhone
Need I say more? =D
